handling movies?

Does anyone know what file is handling what movie will be played? iE NewsRobot_Alien_Evil.bik when a new tech is invented. I would like to use my own movies/pics, without renaming them so they are used instead of the originals.

Having a file that is directing the game to the new filepath is what Im looking for ...

Renaming the file works just fine as long as your movies are in the Bink format.

and tahts the problem, I dont think I wish to spend 2000$ for a registered copy without the bink logo
