Question about key bindings

Hello I've just purchased multiplicity and am astonished at how great this little program is! I have a question, forgive me if it's blatantly obvious.

Is it possible to set my keyboard somehow so that some keys always send information to the secondary computer, even if the primary computer is in focus?

Thank you!

That would be a neat trick . . . but out of scope of the app.

Why would this be difficult? Just translate that keystroke to: Switch to secondary computer, input keystroke, switch back to primary computer.

Am I missing something here?

Disclaimer: I am not a developer and do not represent Stardock.

What you are asking for is not what the program is designed for. At my office we call that "scope creep" and it's bad news.

You can do what you describe in two steps with existing Stardock products if you want. Set MP to switch via hotkey or scroll-lock, set up Keyboard launchpad to send the keystroke for your action and then send the hotkey to bring you back to the primary.

I'm going to test to see if you could do it all from the KPL on the primary. That's be fun.

KLP apparently can't send special characters (Scroll-lock or ALT neccessary to activate MP) {or I'm too slow to figure it out}.

So you would need to use scroll-lock to switch PCs, KLP hotkey on secondary to do action, and scroll-lock to return to primary control.

Hmmmm. . . . Looks like KLP needs an update.

/me does not hold breath.
