WindowBlinds and other programs - Conflicts

Don't suspect I will get an answer to this. Studying an Open University (UK) computing course.

Had to install Boralnd JBuilder 4.0 and Rational Rose Enterprise Edition (CASE) software.
When running JBuilder with WindowBlinds 5.0 full registered version loaded, particuarly with the latest skins there is a distinct page flickering.
When trying to run Rational Rose with WB loaded....it just won't run...unload WB and it runs fine....
Don't surpose theres a fix for this...really just posting to give feedback....

The flicker issue may well be the bug in Suns Java JVM where it causes anything semi transparent to flicker when Java apps update.  In which case there is a beta release of the next version from Sun which I believe fixes this (along with its incompatiblity with Windows Vista)

Also if an app doesn't run, does holding down ctrl when it loads help?

That would sound right...since it does appear to be the laterst skins (ones with transparencies) that cause most flickering...

err....No....

tried setting it to not skin application in the user overrides..that didn't help either....

Does a skin like Antares work for those apps?

If so, you might try setting it to only use a particular skin that works.
