Agreed that it's not justification not to do it. But Lantec does not repreesnt Stardock and is not suggesting that it was *thier* justification. See the winky? He was making a joke. If you would like that option included in a future release, I'd email support@stardock.com and ask them.
I know he was making a joke. I'll write an email, although I kinda doubt it would make any difference.
I have never dealt with a company that spent as much time listening to thier customers and assisting them in customizing thier systems. I hope your smiley indicated a joke similar to Lantec's. Otherwise, it's kind of out of line.
Frankly it wasn't that much of a joke but it was noticed, wasn't it. I know that not everything can be implemented but this is since version 1.3 and we're talking about a product one pays for. Besides, I doubt it would be that hard to have such an option in future versions. It's part of the support, which goes with the price. Or "is supposed to", anyway.
My OD Free doesn't show an icon in the tray
Yes, the free version lacks the 'System Tray Support' function, which I wouldn't call exactly a function (feature) seeing as how it can't be
customized.
If you or someone else here has a suggestion on something they would like to see in a future version, then feel free to send an e-mail as Zubaz suggested.
Ditto.
Didn't anyone read post #4 by KiloKrash?
Stardock probably didn't include this option because it's not necessary. If you right click on the taskbar and choose the taskbar tab at the bottom is a check box that says "Hide Inactive Icons" CHECK IT. Then choose the "Customize" button next to it. Then choose Object Dock and set it to "ALWAYS HIDE" |
I don't use the "hide inactive icons" option, so that's of no use to me.
