Poor Video compatability

I like Object Dock but it has very little compatability with both PowerDVD and also my ATI TV video card..
Not only does Object Dock go into a flickering frenzy whenever I start those programs but actually hurt their performance... Once I shutdown Object Dock,,the problem goes away..

Do you have it set to "always on bottom"? This could help.

Also, how much memory do you have? There is a setting to optimize for memory that may help. Go to "Performance Options" under the "General" tab.

Just a couple of quick thoughts. May or, may not help you.

The problems you describe are limitations of Windows and poor design by applications that deal with layers IIRC.

It's not a Stardock problem . . but their apps DO expose the issue.

I have a Pentium4-3 Ghz,,,512 of memory and a 256 video card... Yes I tried different settings..
As for Windows being the problem and not Stardock., that seems sorta silly,, I run all type of apps in the backround while running video and have only experienced this with Object Dock..
