do cheats work on the demo

im thinking of buying galciv2 ive read all about it and everything so i got the demo.it was pretty fun but ended before i could get any good techs. so i decided to cheat. they didnt work. i tried ctrl+shift+r and it didnt work! am i doing something wrong or what?

since the demo doesn't have all the stuff that the full game has, makes sense that the game cheats wouldn't work for the demo. I don't know of any demo cheats, but if there are some, that would be cool because then I can explore the shipbuilder some more

No, the cheats need a special shortcut to run, that requires making a shortcut that doesn't use the laucher, and adding the word cheat into the target of the shortcut.

ah, so the main game cheats WILL work for the demo? I mainly just want them for the chance to play around with the hulls more.
