Alignment Choice Bug

I had a crash after choosing alignment; upon re-loading the autosave I still had Xeno Ethic researched but I no longer had an alignment and couldn't choose one.

Go back to the previous autosave then. That is your only option at this point. Once that initial screen goes away there is no way to choose again, or differently.

That part I figured out on my own, but I figured I'd toss it out here in case no one else had. Going back 5-15 turns isn't a great deal of fun.
