A 4th Ethic Idea

I had an idea for a 4th ethic that could be in a patch or the expanstion i don't have a name for it but here is the jist of it

They belive that good and evil will destroy all that exists that there can't be a balance and all that will happen at the end of the battle will be a void of nothingness
-3 to relations with neutral
-3 to relations with good
-3 to relations with evil

yeah i no it seems kinda bad but its an idea that could be expanded apon

How about "They belive that good and evil will destroy all that exists" without disbelieve in the balance?

The neutrals are aligned mostly neutral to good and to the evil, while those could hate good and evil while only liking the neutrals.

how does that alignment stuff work?
e.g. i am good so the good guys like me more. how much more? do the evil guys like each other as much as the good guys?

If you're good you get a + (or is it a ++?) to your relations wit hotehr good and neutral civs. Good civs will usually band up against evil civs AND evil civs get some exclusive random events that really hurt you. EG: Bunch of planets revolt and becom minor race. Evil civs don't really liek or hate each other.

Ontopic:
What would the bonuses for being this alignment be? I'd suggest a morale bonus, and some kind of exclusive tech (either manufacturing or ship hull).

Not to rain on your birthday, but this really just sounds like "Angry Fundamentalist Neutrals" than a new ethical alignment...

I agree, this isn't that good of an idea. I mean, just pick Neutral and pretend you hate everyone because they're not Neutral...that'd be like asking for Chaotic Good or Lawful Evil......just pick Good and pretend you hate everyone because they aren't good too, Or be evil and pretend your just misunderstood.

The only change Ethics needs is the bonus actually need to do what they say they'll do. (i.e. Neutrals unique Weapons and Shielding Techs, it does no such thing)

No, they need to change the descriptions so that they match the abilities.
The neutrals have the Neutral Learning Center, they don't need any unique weapons and defences.
