Help reqd playing a saved game on a different PC

I hit a problem moving a saved Metaverse game from my desktop PC to my laptop - none of my custom ships were availabe.

I found what appeared to be the relevant files in My Games\GalCiv2\ships and My Games\GalCiv2\Metaverse\ships and copied those over as well. All seemed fine until I set my governor to change all planets building Defender to build a custom ship - horrendous crash.

Ok, so I've screwed up somewhere ... any advice on what files I need to copy to play a saved game on a different PC would be much appreciated!

Sorry, no debug.err available, I loaded my latest autosave and deleted the old custom ships and designed some new ones - can't waste valuable game-play time

The debug.err will still be there, go look for it. Every crash is saved onto your root directory (generally C)

??? C is my O/S partition, GalCiv2 is in Games folder on my E partition.

Yeah, debug.err is still there, but doesn't it just show the latest run - game started and ended normally? For what it's worth -

Ignore this - whatever I'd screwed up it all got sorted out in the end ... no problems at all moving the save back from laptop to desktop.

And a technological victory to boot. Suck on that, Yor scum!

(I'm a bit hyper after that victory, so forgive me if I go a bit overboard) Best. Game. Ever.
