Parallel installs

Is it possible to install the latest release build in one folder and the latest beta in another and choose which to run?

I would like to be able to install two instances so I can decide whether to use the "release" software or the "beta" software for a particular game, depending on whether I want to be testing the game or just enjoying playing a game without the problems associated with a beta build.

Can I manage two installs like that from Stardock Central?

Can I manually do this without messing up my serial number?

While I'm asking, can I install GC2 on two computers if there is absolutely no chance they will both be used at the same time? They are both basically mine. One has a removable hard drive tray, and the drive is locked up when I am not around, and protected with multiple passwords. The other is at home, also protected by many layers of security to prevent anyone but myself from using it without completely wiping the hard drive clean.

As for your second question. Yes, it is perfectly legal to install the program on multiple computers as long as it isn't used on both at the same time.

Oh, and as of yet I haven't found Beta2 or Beta3 to be all that unstable.

you can also go back to an older non-beta build by just running that patch. You'll go back to 1.0x.

Yeah, beta 3 has only a few problems that were there at release. Just misspellings, though, that I've seen.
