Rally Points

I was wondering how you would create rally points for your ships?

When I go to the build ship menu to select what ship I want to build the rally point button is greyed out.

If anyone could give me the steps to do this, that'd be great.


On another note - is there a way to have your colony ships to automtically colonize planets like in MoO?

There are two tutorials on Rally points that give you explicit instructions.

The last few tutorials are actually fairly brief and rushed, it takes some practice to really grok rally points.

I have not done the tutorials because I am an experiened gamer in the 4X series so I will check them out.

I did not think that setting a rally point would be something that is overly difficult to do. It should be easy and simple to do because, well, it isn't supposed to be complicated.
