Can someone point me in the proper direction?

When you research good and evil - what do each of the choices do for you?

I can't find the info anywhere except in-game and I would like to have a read over it. Thanks.

I'm not sure exactly what you want.I need more elaboration. The manual, page 37,describes the effects of each philosophy (Good,Neutral,Evil). Also, It states,"When you research Xeno Ethics, you'll be presented with the option to choose one of the philosophies at a price that varies according to the choices you've made so far."

If you choose "good", you get:
1. Some bonus dimplomacy (+10) from technology,
2. Citizens are less likely to defect (loyalty bonus),
3. Your 5 most populous planets have no maintenance cost...
4. You get increased diplomatic bonus and trade with other good civilization (no idea if this works or not).
5. Better defensive modules for your ships (with proper research),
6. 5% better HP (from Arnorian Battle Armor research).
7. Allows you to build the following Galatic Achievements:
- Temple of Rightgeousness - steal trade revenue from other good races.
- Empathic Tactical Center - boost your ship defenses by 20%.
- Hall of Empathy - increase the chance for you to be the one that a race surrenders to.
8. A good conscience...

If you choose "neutral", you get:
1. Some bonus dimplomacy (+10) from technology,
2. All your planets are instantly fully terraformed (works, but buggy).
3. You get discount when buying ships directly.
4. Bonus to soldiering against other neutral civilizations (no idea if this works)
5. Neutral Shipping, supposedly gives you 3 more trade route and +10 trade (doesn't work from my experience).
6. You can build:
- Neutrality Learning Centers (which... doesn't exist, so does absolutely nothing)
- Temple of Neutrality - steal tourism from other neutral civilizations (Galactic Achievement)
7. You are also suppose to get some defenses and weapons, but those don't exist either.
8. A full wallet...

If you chose "evil", you get:
1. Some bonus dimplomacy (+10) from technology,
2. Free Starbase upgades.
3. Other civilization's trade routes going through your territory must pay you 1 BC per week.
4. Three powerful Psyonic weapons, especially beams... (with proper research).
5. You can build:
- Propaganda Center - increases planetary loyalty by 10% (Normal building)
- Artificial Slave Center - Increases Military Production on the planet (Super Project)
- Mind Control Center - Culture conquests are nearly instantaneous (Galactic Achievement)
- No Mercy Invasion Center - Special invasion tactics are free (Galactic Achievement)
- Temple of Evil - steal trade revenue from other evil civilizations (Galactic Achievement)
6. From digging in the files, you are suppose to get the tech "The Dark Side" for the "Life Force Power" Galactic Achievement, but the tech isn't in the game, so neither of those works.
7. Your own evil laughter, Muahahahahahah... (with practice, of course)

Yeah, I think that about covers all of it, though I suppose I might be missing some stuff...

Thing about being evil tough is that the other do-gooder races may gang up on you.
