Colony Managment Screen LINK to Main Screen?

Is there any way to jump from the currently viewed planet to its location on the main screen star chart?

For example I double left click on Earth and it brings up the Earth Colony managment screen. Then I hit the 'Next' button (top right of colony management screen) and it cycles through the planet list. If I select 'Done' (lower right of colony mangament screen) I return to earth (the planet I initially selceted to enter the colony managment screen) regardless of the current planet displayed in the colony mangament screen.

What I would like to do is open the colony managment screen, cycle through the planets, select a planet and then 'jump' from the colony managment screen to the location of the currently displayed planet on the main screen star chart.

Any help or answer appreciated

No way to do it as you want except at the start of a turn with the jump to button. You can also use the first button on the bottom panel that lists your planets to jump around.... still not quite what you want but its the best answer I have for you!

Yea... that sorta works but still cumbersome when working with a large number of planets.

Developers sure would be nice if we could click on the planet pic in the colony managment screen and jump to its location on the galaxy map.

Still this is the best 4x game I've ever played and I started with Space Empires I/ Civ I many, many, many, moons ago
