Lionhead Studios is pleased to announced that another of their franchises is being expanded. Molyneux's god simulation, Black and White 2 will get a darker twist when Black & White 2 - Battle of the Gods is added to the franchise. The expansion is apparently already complete, with a release date of April 2006 currently being pushed.
The title will be published by Electronic Arts and will place gamers back in Eden as they try to deal with a new disruptive force. The force has been called forth by the Aztecs who are displeased with their defeat, leaving players to deal with the new deity.
Battle of the Gods will bring a new creature, two new armies, and a revamped artificial intelligence system to the table. The title will also feature new lands, challenges and four new miracles.
