start Menu stays in classic?

I just grabbed Windows blinds and its really cool. Only problem is when I load any skin the start menu/taskbar goes to classic view and when I try to change the style back to xp because thats supposedly my problem it gives me an access denied error wich i assume is because windows blinds is running.. Programs such as opera and Load the skin fine for the top bars but like all my folders/start menu/taskbar don't. Any help is greatly appreciated

had this same issue when I loaded a few of the stardock apps on the same day, it seems like one of them was watching the startbar and was not letting it get skinned so it goes to classic mode, I ended up uninstalling all but windowblinds and it started to work fine so I would look at what else is installed and if you have something like objectbar or whatever installed too, then try to uninstall and test again, it worked for me.

I believe the classic view is the WB default...I really haven't seen many skins in the XP view. I believe if you purchase WB it may give that option.

not WB as far as I know - in order for WB to change the start it needs to be on xp start

there was another post within the last 2-3 days, poster found out 'force classic start' was on. don't know how but they said taking that off worked

object bar doesn't change my start to classic - I don't use right click so I don't know about that

Right click on taskbar, properties, Start menu. Make sure Start menu not Classic start menu is selected.
