Organic ships anyone?

Don't know if anyone has suggested it yet, but organic ships in some late tech tree would be neat. It's pretty common sci-fi theme that "high tech races" have organic technology and while you can transform yourself into being of pure energy, it'd be cool to have organic ships too. Then you could make a Vorlon race

Heh just a thought.

stardock said they might be going to add the dread lords as a playable race in sandbox mode (and hopefully metaverse to), they use organic ships

If you use my mod ( http://library.galciv2.com/index.aspx?m=22 ) You can use Dreadlord hulls on your ship designs.

I'd like to see the Syd Mead-style hulls that were used in Wing Commander Prophecy (they made the coolest sounds). Then again, I may be the only person who actually played Prophecy.
