Graphic problems

Hi all,I'm having some graphic problems with the game which makes it really hard to play...

As you see I have no planet textures and my scout ships are almost invisible.I have the lastest patch and video drivers(RADEON 9600,driver version 6.2)and have tried the tactical zoom thingy but it just didnt work for me.I found another person with same problem as me,but he has a GeForce 4 Ti 4200.

Here it is:https://www.galciv.wikicities.com/wiki/Help_Desk#All_the_ships_and_anomalies_in_the_game_are_black.2C_I_cannot_see_them.
" All the ships and anomalies in the game are black, I cannot see them.

Except for the adjustable color frames, they're extremely hard to spot, as if they'd be lying in deep shadow, with no light anywhere around. Planets and stars aren't visible either. Just some circles with names underneath. Have a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 with new drivers and tried the 3dAnalyzer. Any ideas?
"

So it seems its not a ATI problem only. Also if I posted it on the wrong forum I apologize, this board system is a bit weird for me,I'm used to CFC forum style.

I have the same problems on my GF's computer (Athlon XP, GeForce 5700 (FW 81.98 (latest)), Windows 2000 SP4).

Don't have the problem at home. Changed regional settings here, no success.

... got it... my fault yesterday, just put the "Input Locales" to english... What you need to do is to set the "General"-Tab to "English (United States).

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Regional Options

Hope you fix this soon, or when the game will be released in Europe on 28th March you will get "tons" of E-Mails
