Hey everyone, anyone remember me?

Hey all, I just wanted to re-introduce myself to the Gal Civ crew. I used to play Gal Civ 1 all the time, and I joined the "G.R.O.S.S. " empire and stayed in it for quite awhile, and then I proceeded to join the ranks in a different clan called "The Foundation". I used to be under the screen name "John Greenwood" (My real name was/is Nathaniel Greenwood), and just before I kind of 'dissapeared' from the old Gal Civ site, I changed my name to "Evil One" or something like that. Well, as you can see, I'm now under the screen name 'ChosenOne197', but I'm still the same "John Greenwood" some of you may remember from the old Gal Civ site.

So, anyways, what my main point is, does anybody remember me? I sure hope so. I was really good buddies with the likes of Technician, Newfy, Evil Roy (or Roy, or Good Roy, whichever he feels like being at the time. LOL ), and quite a few others. I can't remember all of their names (I'm sorry for that), but, I think that if they remember me, hopefully they'll speak up.


So, anyways, here's a big HELLO to everyone here and to all of my fellow Gal Civians. I just recently purchased the Collector's Edition of Gal Civ 2 (like I promised I'd do a long time ago when it was first announced), but I unfortunetly haven't gotten the time to play it yet. Whenever I do though, I will let everyone know what I think about it. I can say one thing though, I'm freaking excited about it, and I love the new graphics and ship designer ideas.

Hey man, I think I remember you, I'm not sure, but the name sounds awefully familiar. And yes, I hung up the good ol' Gal Civ 1 hat quite awhile ago. But now, my head is going to have to get used to wearing a new hat for who knows how long.

So, Tech went into the Galactic Diplomats empire huh? Interesting. And Newfy, hmmm, maybe he'll show up one of these days (hopefully, I liked him). LOL, and Evil Roy, my good goofing-around buddy from 'The Foundation'. Yeah, I've seen him on these forums every once and awhile, although I haven't gotten to say hi to him yet.

And I want to show my personal thanks to you, Fuels Chief, for the invite. I haven't even been on these forums but 2 days now, and I already have an invite. That's really nice. Heck, haven't even gotten to play the game yet. But, I will definetly think about that invite man, you can count on that.

My thanks to both of you guys for the posts, thought I had slipped into the Twilight Zone for a second there.


PS: And yes, I like to use a lot of smilies in my posts. You got a problem with that?!

Bumby bumb. Anyone else wanna post a comment? Anyone else remember me? Just curious to how many of you old Gal Civ players remember.

I remembered a few other guys from the first game/site that I talked with a few times or was buddies with:

Hegetaga ( Me old ship mate, arrrgg)

Oh, and Krazyhorse. LOL, oh man, I remember him. What in the WORLD was he smoking? That old pipe with Krazy-Grass in it or something like that?

Well, I'm guessing that this topic is pretty much dead now. Well, at least I got one person that said I was remembered, and that's better than none at all. Either everyone is playing the game (which is most probable), this topic sounds/looks boring (could be), or there aren't very many people from the first site here that check out the forums. But oh well, whatever.

Thanks again to Fuels Chief for the post and invite, and to mavx21 for the welcome. Hopefully I might be remembered by somebody else if I post enough in the forum or something. Maybe.
