GalCiv II and Australia

Hi there,
Well, I've been informed just now by my local friendly computer games store that my order of GalCiv II has arrived, 6 days ahead of the 'official' Australian release date of the 12th of March.
There was zero chance to pre-order the Collecters Edition down here (most shops said "hat game was that? you sure you don't mean Middle Earth II or SW:EaW")
I remember seeing a post earlier from Stardock that people whom got first shipment would be able to get the Collecter's Edition goodies.
Is there any consideration to extending this to Australian released stock, given that we seem not to have been able to order the CE edition and the cripple effect of currency conversion and downloading directly is not a great option for some (try being on a military base and downloading a large game
) ??
One point I guess will be to wait till I can pick it up tomorrow and see what the serial# does in the provided spots - although a comment from StarDock would be very greatly received if forthcoming.
