Total influence for one turn bug after capturing a planet.

This has happend twice in the game i'm playing right now since updating the game to 1.0x. After I capture a planet the game grants me total influence over the entire map for one or two turns. A dregin planet way on the other side of the galaxy flipped over to me, long before I even met them.

I have made a safe with the bug in effect so if anybody from Stardock is interested just let me know.

This happened to me once in beta. What size map were you playing on and against how many players?

I was playing on a huge map with 6 other players. There where about 4 minor races. The story just got even stranger, it happend again only this time it lasted for 4 turns, during these turns my approval went from +70 to -81 to +1 and then back to normal. It also saw the creation of a splinter empire because 4 of my colonies revolted at the same time and started their own little empire.

I had something like this happen to me too. I invaded a planet and used information warfare. When I conquered it, the planet had an extremely high population, somewhere around a thousand trillions of people. Since a planet's influence depends on its population, I had a ridiculous amount of influence, too. Next turn, the planet starved down to its population cap and everthing went back to normal, except some alien planets outside my influence borders had gotten the skull and crossbones.

Large Map against 9 Genius AI (playing on Crippling difficulty level)
Happened twice both after my succesful invasion of high quality planet full of embassy (quality 18-19)

This happened to me, but the total inflence went to another race. A race that I was beating to a pulp surrendered to the Arceans. On the next turn, the Arceans had total influence over the whole map. Two of my planets (one was my homeworld!) went into "danger mode" (showed the red skull icon). Luckily, the problem went away after 2 turns and the influence zones returned to normal.

If someone has a save game saved just before an invasion, surrender, or culture flip that causes this to happen, it would help me to debug this more quickly.  My e-mail is carielf@stardock.com
