Game arrived at my door 1 hour ago... now I tought I get to play, but no

It seems that ships and planets lack textures n stuff.. any idea how to fix this?

would seem to be a video card issue, what's your card?

Close the game, reboot and play again. This worked for me.

What is your OS and video card? Go into the Control Panel / Language bit and change the first dropdown to US English. Try the game again, better?

Yeah, switching regional settings did help, still CTD's alot.
