Trouble updating Stardock Central

When I ran Stardock central, it reported that there was a new version.

I selected the option to install the new version. The files were downloaded, Stardock central reported that it had installed the new version and said it had to restart to run the new version. I selected the option to do so ...

AND

I got back to the beginning, with a report that there was a new version.

This repeated several times. Eventually I uninstalled Stardock Central and loaded and installed the current verrsion from the Stardock web site.

There was a bad [beta] build that had faulty upgrade stuff I think.

Grab a new version of SDC from stardock and let it upgrade. All should be well.
