Someone here recommended this, and I have dumped Winamp for it. "foobar2000 is an advanced audio player for the Windows platform. Some of the basic features include ReplayGain support, low memory footprint and native support for several popular audio formats."

I love foobar. Great to know they have finally released the final. I have played around with the betas, but due to the SDK not having been released, some of my favorite plugins didn't work for it. Once they are all updated, I will be snagging the new version.

FYI. This is a release candidate. Still not the final release, with no date stated for the final, and no SDK released yet until the final is actually out.

No, it never will be, at least according to the developer. That is by design. There are some plugins that make it skinnable (foo_looks and one other), but they aren't really developed that much. Most people who use foobar don't want skinning (myself included).

Heh, that is one of the main reasons I love foobar2000. It always matches the rest of my desktop!

I have been using Foobar for a year and ahalf. Thats one of the reasons I use it. Whatever blind your using skins the Top portion of foobar. In the preferences you go to Display>default user interface:
There you can change the backgound color, the font color and the selected item color. So you can technically match whatever Theme your using. Their preview pic of the foobar is maximized. You can make it as small as a winamp if you like.

I still have winamp but Foobar is an excellent player and my " main " player. Thanks for the link Island Dog...
