MOFOers!

Due for release on 03/03/2006 <- Play.crap have just dropped the date back a week! I'm so pee'd off! I hate Paradox. Jesus can't they even deliver to suppliers on time!

I'm off to blow up some rebel scum in Empires at Wars, a nice little stop gap for me till I receive my now late copy of GC2. I am not impressed!!!!

Waiting for my download. 10 hours and 15 minutes left...

What kind of connection do you have? It took me about 15 hours with a 384kbps connection to download it! Fortunately i didn't noticed it that much cause i started downloading late last night and i finished a few hours ago!

It's even worse: 3pm EST is 21:00 h in continental Europe.

So it will be 22:00 here in Greece, right? Damn! I will only have time to play a couple of hours at most until i go to bed. That's not enough

Umm, why don't you cancel your Play order and buy the digital download direct from Stardock? Stardock will get more revenue and you'll get the game faster.

A quick question regarding us E.U players. If I were to buy it from Stardock now (gotta support the developer. you know ) would I get the "preorder" bonus or am I out of luck and can E.U citizens get the packaging, cd:s and manual sent to us as well?

easy to find when you search for "3pm" specificly. but then youd already need to know the awnser.

"[18:05.30] (Frogboy) So it'll be roughly 3pm EST."

lets hope the devs learn these lessons are learned well.

im not to happy about the final phase of this releace thus far

I would also like to know this now, especially since play.com has screwed me over

With Paradox, the release was pushed back due to the time it takes for translation and packaging.  They were sent the gold version the same time it was sent to our manufacturer, but it takes time for them to receive it, test it and get it packaged.

The pre-order package by paradox is different than in the US.  GalCiv II is published in the US by Stardock, but in the UK, it is published by Paradox, so the packaging and contents are not the same, nor do either have access to the packaging that the other has.

If you want what Paradox is offering, the only way to get it is through them.

If you want the US collectors edition (which is different) you can order it through Stardock and have it shipped to your country.  However, there are s/h fees.

All our direct customers get access to SDC online when they buy GalCiv II (or any of our products).
