Maximise/Minimise/Restore Problem with Tray Dock

Windows control buttons not working properly when dock is at top of screen

Hi

I am running Object Doc, purchased version 1.20.522u Plus Build 522; WinXP Home; AMD64 Athlon; ATI Radeon X600 Graphics; 1GB RAM.

My desktop looks like this:

-          I have a clock docklet docked to the left hand side, centred

-          I have the Windows Task Bar removed

-          I have a tabbed dock at the top of the screen, centred, behaving as a drawer, which clicks to open and closes after use showing only the tabs.

The program runs fine except for a few issues:

1)       When I run MS Money 2005, no icon appears on the tab I use to show the task bar, but there is a blank space where it should be and the title of the program appears on mouse-over

2)       I have a wireless network; in the system tray tab there are always 4 wireless network icons, but only one has a description on mouse over

3)       When I position the tabbed dock at the top of the screen, the minimise/maximise/restore/close buttons on maximised windows do not behave correctly. Only the bottom one third of the buttons respond to mouse-over or a click. If I click or point at the upper 2/3 of the buttons nothing happens. The same is true along the length of the title bar – only the bottom third reacts to the mouse pointer.

I have looked in the user forum for some answers, but not found any.

I would be grateful for any help you can give.

Thanks

Simon

1) Have you tried rightclicking on the blank area, selecting "Dock Entry Properties" and setting an image for it (or it's class)?

2) This seems to be common for network adapter icons (I typically get two) and for me it happens with ethernet NICs as well as wireless. Rightclicking the 'phantom' ones gets rid of them.

3) Works fine here, sorry...
