I have yet to be able to play more than 5 or 10 minutes on beta three. I've tried 10 different games with different driver configs and monitor settings, and every time it crashes within a few minutes of starting a game. This was working flawlessly on the same hardware and driverset under all earlier betas. Now, hard crashes randomly occur after a few minutes. Symptoms are the monitor turns a flat color, sound is skipping and repeating, and the computer is totally unresponsive, requiri

I really miss the "OH MY DEMIGOD" that was at 8 or 10 kills in the earlier betas. Hoping they bring that back -- it was almost worth playing the game just to hear that. LOL.

Got the same issue here, on Vista x64 on a 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo with a 8400GS. This hardware ran beta 2C fine, no issues, no lag. With 2D, it starts lagging like crazy as soon as lots of additional units start coming onscreen. I don't know if tesb above is correct, but it definitely did seem to start happening right around the time when angels started being spawned in.

I can't believe no one else has seen this, but I searched the forum and didn't pull up anything similar, so here goes: After playing for 10-15 minutes, the messages, numbers from health etc. start sticking onto the screen persistently. It looks like you've just driven through a cloud of bugs and they're all stuck to the windshield. This is especially bad with Oak as all the creeps and minions have +40's popping up constantly. This is on Vista x64 on a GTX 260 with the latest d

I'm with you, Brad. I think either will be terrible for the country. Problem is, we are kind of stuck with the two party system. I did run across another idea: http://www.mickeyforpresident.com/ . Those guys are advocating a writein of Mickey Mouse for president to make a statement about how dissatisfied we are with this situation. Check it out, sign the petition...

What about the ThinkDesk subscription? (I assume this is coming out with the other ThinkDesk programs as a subscription similar to Object Desktop)?... What is the pricing on that? I'd go for Multiplicity Pro, but if ThinkDesk as a whole is just a bit more....

I've been a loyal subscriber of Object Desktop since I first found out about WindowBlinds a couple of years ago. When I bought it, I was under the impression that it was ALL of the non-game Stardock products. I have been renewing for exactly that reason -- I want all of Stardock's products in a nice package, without having to spend the time to pick and choose and debate and evaluate each individual one to see if it's worth the money. I trust Stardock, but this ObjectDock thing

Does bootskin work with Windows Server 2003? I've been using it as my main environment for a while now (rocks, BTW), but I've had issues with bootskin in it's earlier versions (booting up to a blank screen etc.). I'd love to be able to use it (and would probably pay for pro), if it does work with win2k3.

Tech Cat:"If it is okay to copy an entire article onto a blog with my commentary attached, then what is there to stop me from posting the entire Lord of the Rings novel with a review written by me attached. I just can't buy the argument that it is okay to copy an entire article." Assuming this is a reply to my post, I'd have to ask you to reread my post or at least quote the portion you disagree with. If you actually read it, rather then just posting "What is so hard about providing a hyperl

KarmaGirl:"Copying an online article is no different than photocopying a page out of a book. Neither fall in "fair use". They are both against copyright law." I would have to disagree with this statement. Copying an article in it's entirerty is very different than copying a single page from a book. Copying the book page, or even going so far as to copy the whole book for personal use only, is very much fair use. This is the same as the copying that goes on inside your browser when you n
