Having said that, protecting oneself when going into a hostile situation *is* prudent and worthy of consideration. Its not the war in Iraq we are talking about here. Taking up arms against ones mother isnt an option, there are other alternatives and posting a thread like this on a skinning site isnt one of them.

An interesting week
Maybe the next step is to always carry a knife of your own. Zubaz, that is just ludicrous advice. Its responses like that which confirms why threads such as this shouldn't be in these forums.
No confusion, but you did ask for "expert advice". Given the seriousness of your problem a skinning site is hardly the place to find that.
Am I in the wrong place, this is a skinning site, right?
No, I think people are talking about the default menu you normally get when right clicking on desktop,,arrange icons, refresh, new, etc. But there is no way I know of to get that menu into the RightClick program itself. As Lantec said, using Cntrl+ rightclick will bring that menu up.
What *properties did you add, and where did you add them from.
Seems the problem is that Theme Manager no longer knows where the WB skins are now located. Something Stardock will need to adress. You need to make sure the pirate wb folder is in the location Night Train gave above, if it is you then need to rebuild skin list in the WB config. It should then show up. If it still doesnt show up you may need to rename the Pirate Theme Manager file to make it a zip, then manually extract the WB folder into above location.
I've noticed that with WB6 there is no longer an option to "make toolbar buttons flat". I'm not a fan of having squares around the toolbar icons, was this an oversight or just no longer an option for some reason?
Actually i thought maybe one step up from Master would be nice.... Legend. of course, i wasn't referring to myself.. No of course not, you never talk about yourself.
Once bitten twice shy. Unbelievable that this problem hasnt been addressed in the update. i didnt unload right click prior to updating, and as such i have experienced no problems at all, all my settings remained and everything works as it should, i am sorry it didnt work for you because this is a worthwhile update This update is probably only worthwhile if you have Vista, if anything it is worse now on XP. In the config window I can no longer a
You may, you may not. If you were running Stardock wouldn't you go where the money is and get the primary programs like WB, SKS, Icon Packager, DesktopX, etc. updated first to work with Vista and still provide new things for XP?? And 64 bit support also? RightClick is my favorite and most useful program, but for a company trying to be sucessful, it would be a low priority at this point in time I would think... I dont think any product that Star
Very disappointing update. It seems it has only been updated to support bloody Vista but nothing new has been added, not even the capability of being able to save different configurations. RightClick is a great program but this is a skinning site and we like to skin but this so called "update" fails miserably in that department. Still no png support, bmp's and magic pink went out with the Ark and the default "meter" graphics look like escapees from someones pirated version of Windows 95
WB for eye candy, RightClick for usefulness
I really dont see what Zagorskid has done wrong. He simply wrote a tutorial on how to change a logon background for personal use. He has never advocated uploading others work as their own. He is not to blame for what others do with that information. His tutorials are no different to some of the tutorials here at Wincustomize Wiki, they also show how to change backgrounds etc of other peoples skins, as long as people realize that doing this is for personal use only, then there is
Aussie floating to America. Who are we gonna make fun of now that the Aussies have buggered off to the Northern Hemisphere
I've always thought this site needed an agony column and I'd like to nominate Jafo as our Agony Aunt. I can see it now,, Dear Auntie Jafo, Yesterday my cat........
I have tried using Xion but just seems to be using too much CPU, I cannot do anything else while I have it running. It shows 95-97% as opposed to winamp 12-15% and foobar 6-10%. Oh well, I'll just stick with winamp and foobar. Id rather my music player be useable than skinnable.
A quick question, does Xion support skinning of the playlist, if not I think it'll end up a dead duck like Coolplayer.
You pesky little fairy,,see what youve started. You know full well you can criticise, abuse, and mock any commoner for weeks on end but never ever pass comment on the powers that be, otherwise the wrath of the frog will come down on you like a ton of bricks, you're thread may (will be) locked, you may suffer demotion, and last but certainly not least....do do do do do do.....exile! Oh well, if you dont like the treatment you can always start your own site. You also know that there i
Thanks ID, it's nice to be included on THE LIST and 'grats to the other artists also. Cheers
omg , just noticed second line of Post Title.. Kinda reminds me of the old cartoon, Captain Pugwash, who's crew consisted of a Master Bates, Seaman Stains and last but not least Roger the cabin boy.
C'mon Po, a WIP gallery is way too difficult to set up. The poor moderators , as Boss keeps telling us, are overloaded as it is, I mean just looking after those far more necessary galleries like Coolplayer, Colorpad, Beatnik, Objectbar, etc etc, can send the moderators to the brink of exhaustion. A WIP gallery, nah, wont happen. Makes too much sense.
f you had to put Monet's Water Lilies next to Matisse's Water Lilies, would you rate one below the other because of the order in which they were produced, claiming one was a copy of the other? They'd both only get 2 stars, I hate water lilies
Zubaz further thinks we need a DEVO inspired skin I'll just time warp back to the 80's and see what I can come up with.
