Today November 2013, after a Windows update (automatic) it happen again. "DesktopX.exe has stopped working" Are you suffering the same? I uninstalled and re-intalled (even uding Revo Uninstaller) but the problem still there. I can't believe it! I will try to install the old version DesktopX Pro 3. Wish me good luck. Drag and Drop files over objects function in DesktopX Stardock Forums

Hi guys. I'm doing a folder for Dropbox... the idea is that when you drag a file over the object, the file will be moved on that folder. How can I do this possible? Many thanks in advance.

The solution to this issue (reply 9) it says to replace DXAxHost.dll for the one in the link. I uninstalled DesktopX, reboot, Install it,but when I open the zip downloaded there are not any .dll file. Just two files "DXAxHost.app" and "dxaxhost-app.pdb". Anyway I copied them and when are pasted it replace only "DXAxHost.app". After run Desktopx... the problem persist. Any other solution please?

I don't understand what is happening. I was having the same problem. I uploaded a ticket and after a couple days waiting they send me a new serial number that finally it works. Now I was happy until I discover a new problem. THE SCRIPTS ARE NO WORKING ANY MORE!

I have the same problem. When I try to install it and put the serial number that is copied from my account it say the is a wrong number. Is sad that we need to search a Torrent to resolve these problems just to get a quick solution.

Here is the object that I want to fix. If someone have any idea how can the text object show the new emails and at the same time to show the state "New mail". The original object only works with proprietary domains but many users (included me) need that it works with Gmail. Is this possible??? Thanks in advance.

I recognize that I let myself believe that was include in the promotion text "ObjectDock is an animated dock for Windows." The first what I though was that they finally include the "Animated Shortcuts" add on by AndreasV. I have many ideas to do animated icons so I bought the upgrade to V2. But I was wrong and the only way is to create shortcut with simple png images. I tried to use a multiple frames image png but it doesn't shown in the list. Please Stardock Team!!!! DON"

After DesktopX upgrade objects can't move. in DesktopX Tutorials WinCustomize Forums

All my object have two layers.... base and mask. Base contain a reflex on floor and have Activation = None. The mask have Activation: Visible area. Before the upgrade everything was working fine. But now, it seems like the rules are changed or something happen. The only way to move is putting the base in Activation = Default. But the reflection on the floor is also dragable. Rules are changed? Why? Are you suffering the same? Regards!
