Are we supposed to rate the beta as a beta? Or as a game?
Same here, so I went with 'good', though I believe in a short while the game will be excellent and a short while after that (maybe next standalone) will set a new standard altogether edit: please give thought to neutrals having the ability to spread camps & intelligent ones having diplomacy with other neutrals/factions, I really think th

whew!!, post made my hair stand on end
The AI should try to out maneuver you so he can get first strike
first strike ability & counter attack options/traits for unit making would help the whole 'who gets to hit who first' thing by making/adding defensive strategies (I want my kite shield wall to 'hold tha line') - oh and maybe some additional magic resist options for troop making so my 'holding line&#

I'm sorry if some of this is already in or just out of the question, just trying to make the Neutral factions the best they can be for I feel there is still much that can be done here. If I recall correctly E:FE was about making the 'outside world' more interesting, this has been done but.. I think Neutrals should be able to expand to new camps if their population growth hits a certain limit (some should populate quicker than others - Oger/Goblin), the number&nb

8 - I hope the work here never stops 2 - chance to become champions, more units with at least single spell ability, and much much more 5- I would like to see neutrals have strong defense at their camps, would like to be able to have stronger negotiation abilities with most of the more intellegent neutrals so I can be buddies with the ai controlled ogres/bandits/or what have ya without having to enslave them & run them manually (unless I hire/buy a couple units fr

have ya'll thought about pulling out tha ol' D&D Monster manuels? There be a ton of interesting creatures with well thought out abilities (not all, but most/ never liked the square & rectangle looking enemies except for maybe the 'monster chest', looks like a treasure chest but is actually a monster using an illusion). What about an ant liner / ant lion (can't remember tha right name), the little bugs that create a funnel in tha s

I'd like to be able to see my allies territory (makes it really difficult to work together when you don't even know where they are) I wouldn't mind neutral camps (trolls, ogres, spiders, & such) being able to spread & start another lair if the present lair grows to it's limits. Would like some neutrals being less aggressive to your faction over time unless harassed (I'm a druid at heart

heh, I too thought I bought back in 2010, only no email (unless I deleted it), & no download option for me. I do have my E:wom & Galciv downloads available but no E:FE. I went to the support page & decided I had been drinkin too much to understand what I"m suppost to do. I guess I'll just wait till it magicly pops up.
probably 8-10 tiles between new cities, instead of the 7 for more spread and less spam.
I've been thinkin the cities are too close as well, looks like a metropolis at mid/late-game, I would prefer them be maybe twice as far at least allowing for outposts & roads to play a bigger part
In my opinion - just make tactical battles look and feel like in AoW:SM. Problem solved .
I used to think this, now I believe that this franchise will end up with much better: E:wom = making the engine E:FE = making the game 'Next' = all the gooey goodness
