I just saw the game today in a store, and it looked interesting. I enjoy RPG and Strategy--the Spellforce franchise was magic! But, before emptying $50 out of my wallet I decided to check the reviewers. To summarize they say: Good game. Released before it was ready. Lacks polish. Lacks continuity and storyline, and is VERY buggy. But--they all liked it! So, I suspect that the reviews
In AoW, the damage does not scale and is fine. The problem comes when a unit has its resistance bumped up to where it is virtually cannot be hit with magic. And why have resistance? Because it is easier to balance magic against weapons when there is a resistance stat. It can be done without resistance, but

However, technology, 'best practices', and knowledge have also progressed at, I assume, a reasonable pace to counter all that.
Not really. There are some things that make it easier, but some times they have pit falls that can make it easier than ever to have a problem and not notice (e.g. garbage colle

If I want to play something like Elemental or Sim City or Civilization 5 on a SSD because of it's super fast load speed how do I do that? Does it work? And is it worth it? Also, what SSD would someone recommend for that?
You will want to look at the random access speed, as t

The fact that you theoretically should not have to care does not matter is somethin

I don't know my history well enough to go into more detail than that but iron > bronze so that was that. (
There are others that try to make innovative games, it is just most people never hear of them as they are not mainstream. EWOM may have been the last by a company large enough that many gamers have heard of them, but certainly not the last small developer that will try.

From advice I have read of threads like this one elsewhere, it would seem that if you do not what to build your own then the next best option (in terms of what you get for your money) is to go with a brand of intermediate size (not one of the really big ones like Dell and HP, but not obscure either). My personal preference is Micro Express, but I have only looked at their laptops (and the cheapest gaming setup for those last time I looked was above the price you list).

All I see is games never go above 2gb, and almost all games never go above 1gb. Edit: I'm not trying to sound obstructionist. It may well be that 64-bit will save PC gaming. But a developer can't just say "when everyone has it, it will be awesome". If there is no support for it, why get it in the first place?
C# handles a lot of that stuff for you, however you need to manage your content around the Garbage Collector. There for those 40 would respawn over time brings the number back to 100. We could also have a limit to prevent goodie hut numbers from going to low. so for example there can be no more th
