Odd - I was a fallen race - cannot remember which and I could build right after I got their camp in my city. I dont know if there is a tech that I have that you don't or is it truly the race you picked? I know my race cant use horses - over that resource it states the same thing. However it should not let you research it then.

no one wants to make it with my sovereign while the empire next door must be on viagra with an announcement he has a new child every 5 turns. So I can't comment on the healing properties. My sovereign is not getting that benefit.

That what he has noticed so far. I have only played a couple of hours which were enjoyable. i worked out most of it by watching clips posted by Frogboy and staff. Will play again tonight with likely a more critical eye. That said most games these days need patches. Look at Fallout or Oblivion - massive games with documented bugs and the alrge majorty fixed by modders rahter than staff and they are really well funded.
