Thanks everyone, I've checked out the websites and forums/newsgroups for DesktopX, HoverDesk, LiteStep at (www.cyclone.litestep.com), and NextStart. To bad their is not a 'Tom's Hardwae Guide' for shells, where at Tom's Shell Guide, lets go to Shell Enhancements vs Shell Replacements. featuring Installations, and Benchmarks, with Conclusions. Thank you very much, I've used DesktopX, been using it sence last october, off and on, a greate program, however it seems my system is pron to crash when DX is in use. and there is a bit of a power lose to, with it. Yup, suicidal that is what immortality would take us to. even at 46 things are getting very repetitive, just think of being as fit as 25 when your 80. There would be no retiring, because you have to pay off that 60 year home loan at 30%. And in the work place, people would have to run over each other in the parking lot just to advance. No no no the idea is a bad one

The roll up thing. Any color, if it looks good color does not matter. I hope I understand this question. Metal finish works fine to. It's most likly once a month, but it can go longer, or shorter. The one theme that comes the closes to the perfect theme, for me is Sorbet Blue Basic.

Hello, this weekend I plan on doing some upgrade on my PC, and at the same time, doing a clean install of Win98se. What is the best way to save Component Manager, everything else within it, I'd like to do a fresh download for, the artwork thats been downloaded can be saved to a CD. Just how much of Object Desktop do I need to save, I did ask this at the Stardock news group, but a to large a portion of it, I did not understand. Thank you.

Microsoft and Stardock merged, what would the XP look like if its interfase was DesktopX, and be dammed the old conventions. Its late, what can I say.
