seekers are not like other advent. we do not observe the same customs. we are selected at a young age, and given specific psionic enhancements. we do not experiment, there is too much to be lost. we maintain a special connection to the high coalescence, but are not a part of the general unity. the overload of information would kill all but the most powerful i am also unfamiliar with the term "high one." what is this?

[obviously, they dont know of the alien invaders yet. they only had momentary contact with a scout ship, and they havent done any spying in trader space. not really sure why, seems like bad form/strategy on the part of the unity, but you would have to ask CI about that] [any chance you could, like, point us in the right direction, CI? like towards a story whatever else you are looking for about the character. what are you looking for anyway? seems to me we've done as well as we can]</
could say it was the captain and his ?
haha, just noticed that, it was supposed to be the abbreviation for executive officer, X-O. obviously that didnt work. but hey! i figured out one of the emoticons to be honest, all in all this was not my favorite part. i understand why you threw in the actual numbers from the game, but that just cheapens the real action, to me. it makes it too mechanical, too cumbersome, and not the least bit realistic. where is eve

[question: how are we supposed to figure out who you are if you won't answer our questions with a substantial answer. i know, i know, we must ask "the right questions." but at least give us some sort of hint] what rank do you hold? what was your childhood like?
TOC stands for the Trade Order Council. TEC is the military force that has taken control of the Trade Order to combat the Vasari threat. TOC is like the supreme court. The Trade Order still exists, it's just "ruled" by the TEC. I hope I explained that well.
that was exactly what i was talking about. when the TEC took over, i assumed they abolished the TOC. but obviously you had a different take. thanks for explaining.

i actually just saw it too, i thought it was really good. most of your points i agree with. i disagree slightly with your analysis of the "prawns." yes, they were essentially giant bugs, and moved like it, but when you saw how they interacted with each other, they seemed very... human, for lack of a better word, and were very easy to sympathise wth. i see their criminal activities as a result of their horrible living conditions. in fact, criminal is a really, really tough sell as

your writing reminds me very much of michael crichton. you wouldnt happen to be him, risen from the grave after he became a specter?

what do you think of the new high coalescence - haiti, the unity tells me he calls himself - personally? have you met him? in my search i have little time to concentrate on other matters. has there been any new news from trader space?

those sound really cool, darvin3. perhaps some sort of phase-out bomb for the vasari cruiser (i presume they would be cruisers, not that it really makes a difference)? would these ships have normal attacks too, or would they be like the ogrov and the solanus? i also like the minimum range on the lrfs and the other changes proposed in the op. this would create real tactical opportunities for the first time in sins

woohoo! a new part! now for some constructive criticism this is just a personal thing, but i really didnt like the hull points and dps and stats taken directly from the game. i understand it makes it much easier, but you're writing about real frigging combat. your characters can talk like it. the first half of the story was a little annoying, because we dont know who is speaking. maybe you could say it was the captain and his XO? you never address
Nothing we’ve found really kills it except high doses of alcohol
haha, nice. so in order to protect themselves, all they have to do is get hammered? love your story, orodum. its not often i have omg omg omg moments, and reading the first few parts of your story really did that for me. truly amazing! btw, the whole concept of specters and the disease really reminds me of resident evil. but i'm sure you knew that already. and dagger squad,

[dammit, CI, i was fishing for that story. i want to know how they closed the wormhole. back to the character. it takes place less than 5 years before the advent invasion. that's as localized sa we can get i think. i also think the place is the middle of space. they are flying towards trader space, and may be in mostly unknown parts] [really, orodum. quoting the bhagavad gita, or more recently, oppenheimer? had to throw that one in there?] what do you think abou
This doesn't happen in MP, period. Sure, I love a good battle as much as the next guy, so can be stirred into co-op or #vs# play, but by and large, if the game doesn't take 40 hours to complete, I'm generally not interested.
i would love to play one of the these games with you, Lucid, but my internet connection sucks right now, so i'm not sure it would work
