The guns used in the Columbine massacre were obtained illegally. It wasn't a lack of laws that allowed it to happen, there were laws already in place. Those laws were broken. More laws would only effect law-abiding citizens.

I read that he nixxed that plan because of the outrage over it. I'd say that was a smart move, but the original move was so stupid that dropping the idea isn't really "smart," it's just common sense.
Not arguing any of that, but referring to him as B. Hussein Obama is childish, and any time it's brought up it makes the argument look petty. He didn't pick his middle name any more than I did (I hate my middle name, and don't tell anybody what it is unless they ask). His name doesn't worry me. His actions do.

I asked my four-year-old boy what he wanted for lunch the other day and after he told me, he said, "and then, I wanna pound fudge!" I think the kid on the show may have said "I wanna pound OF fudge" but I haven't been able yet to watch it to find out.)

The rule served its purpose. It allowed gay people in the military, and it allowed the military a period of adjustment. There are openly gay people in the military right now, and the military is doing just fine. Conservatives who are afraid that Obama is getting ready to dismantle America might want to worry about real things instead of what people are putting in their orifices.

My sister-in-law holds to the theory that all men are utterly stupid, and all women are completely insane. As a general rule, it explains a lot, but it doesn't cover everything. There are, after all, a lot of stupid women out there, and a lot of crazy men. It seems to me that most folks (myself included, I'll freely admit) fall neatly into both categories, regardless of gender.
