I think the name of the one coming out this year is "The Darkness". I agree that horror movies shouldn't be relase on christmas day. However, it's not like they can release a jolly christmas story on christmas day; once people actually started to see it, Christmas would be over. I really don't think movies like this are the "death and distruction" of the christmas spirit because the people who go and see these kinds of movies on Christmas either d

Done and Done!
ALT+PrtScn captures the window or dock in focus Definatly better than any screen capture programs.
Is there an option that would allow me to search through the forums? I know there is a way to search through articles, but what about the forums? It would make finding answers to previously asked questions much easier and would eliminate new posts on the same topics.
Looks great! Can't wait for the update.
The more that I think about it, I believe the screenshot was of an msstyle. I could be mistaken though. Thanks for the link paxx. I'll have to go check it out.
Does anybody know a good program to change the look of the windows tray clock? I've seen some screenshots of clocks with larger hour numbers and smaller minute numbers that looked pretty neat. Any suggestions? Thanks
Sounds like widget is the way to go! Thanks Tiggz.
It seems like one of the ways you can do it.

I have a new DX object I'll be uploading soon. I was wondering whether it should be uploaded as a widget, an object or both? What are the differences between the two? Thanks! ExodusCrow (mike)
You can try this DX widget: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=34&SkinID=230 The only catch with that is you need DX installed to open it.
Now if I try and export it to widget or object it says: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\DesktopX\Eula-app.txt not found I'm having the same problem. It only happend since I updated to 2.3. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smile
When you create an object that has more than one object in it (a text layer and a graphic). When you delete one of them, it will not delete the other. This is because DX doesn't know they are associated. To do this you have to go into the object properties and the summary tab and give the object a name (object_text, object_graphic1) and widget name (object). You have to do this for each layer you have in the object. Hope this helps. This may sound a little wordy. If you have any questio
Missed that one. My bad! Noticed it while I was posting. Sorry about that one!
Isn't Lindows now Linspire?
If you go into your DX configuration. There is a button called "Work Area". There you can reduce the size a maximized window takes up. I hope that's what you're looking for. [Message Edited]
Some weather objects also allow you to type the city and then the country. example "Toronto, Canada" or "London, England"
I never knew you could modify a widget. I was making that assumtion on the fact it was an exe. Glad to know I can make widgets the way I want now. Thanks for this!
Have you checked out the DX resources on stardock.com? They are a good place to start. https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/resources.asp
Obsidian looks sweet!
I'm actually working on a currency conversion widget right now! It's just hard finding a site with current updates that will allow you to do it! (example xe.com)
