DesktopX has the ability to import flash swf files in to themes/objects. I believe _Martin_ Link posted a sample a while back explaining this. Hope that helps.

This has to be the coolest thing I've ever seen! GoldenEye: Source is a Total Conversion (TC) mod using Half Life 2's powerful Source engine. The game is being produced by 36 dedicated enthusiasts who all have fond memories of the original GoldenEye for N64 and wanted to update that classic gameplay with 2005 graphic
Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully most of the users will understand and be patient with the developers who choose to update their widgets, and learn to deal that most of the developers will be too busy to even think about it.
Hal I try to keep things simple
PacificPoker.com or PokerStars, each of them have money games as well as "fake" money games. Those are the two that I'd recommend.
Personally, I'm excited for the year to begin. I just think that it will only be good again in 2-3 years once everything dies down a bit. All the trades that have taken place shook up everything. The game is going to be a LOT different. Having said that, I think my Leafs are going to fail miserably. I might as well keep watching junior hockey. Go Knights go!
What? I don't speak your crazy moon-language. Some good links there. Can't wait to see more! Hillarious stuff!
I'm a big fan of a program from East-tec called "Eraser". Has the ability to delete beyond recovery, past the DOD Standards. Also cleans up the computer nicely of unwanted temporary files etc. http://www.east-tec.com/eraser/
I am a bad bad boy.
Tombala, how do you figure?
An amazing deal. And the site looks great. Can't wait until it's launched.
You can try to bring it back through the display properties. Right click on your desktop, select properties. Go to the Desktop tab and click the button that says "Customize Desktop". There you can bring the recycling bin back.
The best program I've found to resample wallpaper's is a program by Xymantix (the creater of sysmetrix) called Wallpaper XChange http://www.xymantix.com/programs/wallpaper_xchange.html . It's easy to use and does a great job. Most importantly, it's free
I am having the same problem as Island Dog. I just wish there was an option to have it load the builder by default on boot.
I've had the same problem for a while. The only fix I've found that works is to logoff and log back in after your computer boots up. It's getting really annoying though
Well deserved. Have fun!
Tominated: it's a pretty powerful feature though. A Gadget can run on any system. They don't even need DX installed to run them. I think that's worth an extra 50$.
I found that program pretty handy. I used it for a while and then it expired?!?! I found that kind of strange becuase it's an ODNT app.
Why don't you update your subscription?
Here is a link to another, somewhat outdated, WB tutorial. It was written by the people over at Spoono, so it's pretty in depth. http://www.spoono.com/skins/tutorials/tutorial.php?id=4. Hope this helps some people out.
Night Train: What if you were to have a timer start after the menu is visible. If the user doesn't move their mouse in the menu area after, say 2 seconds, it disapears. The menu would stay active if there was a "onMouseOver" event, and would close on "onMouseOut". Dont know if this would work though.
You da man!
I can't wait to see DesktopGadgets running. Keep up the good work!
Great article! And sweet desktop
If only more people knew DX was THIS simple! Another great little tutorial. Thanks.
