The topic was why must GAMES be installed on C:, Not Impulse, and its installed on C: because C: Is usally the system section, Impulse is integrated in the system, not just a program laying around.

Also a quick tip, the AI (At least the easy one, [Trying to improve my tactics]) likes to build only Capitals, Colonizers, and Light Friggates (The assault ones that you get from the start.
The Deliverance Engine is a Nanoprobe Gun! Why else does it take so long and use so much antimater. BTW if its called ANTImatter, wouldnt it destroy your ship? Or even explode when it takes enough damage.
Befor sins, I never knew Ironclad Existed. Is their main work video games? Do they have any really big titles out there?
Have you ever thought WHERE the MISSES 'projectiles and lazers' go? If you fire and miss, something has to be hit eventually... If Earth (Real life earth) has space war, we might colonize a planet and one of our missed nukes may hit it!! Thats why wars in this game are impratical, but it makes a kick a$$ game!
Simple solution, Use Hangar Defenses with Phase Jump Inhibitors takes 7x longer for them to phase jump away, BUT does not effect your ships! The Strike Craft will Fly and attack them the moment they arrive, and the inhibitor will make sure they stay a while.
Im using a Liquid Cooled Graphics card ffs ><, and I get serious lag especailly when zooming, but thats only in Large and Huge.
I had a similar problem, but I thought it was because I had over 200 Trade and Refinery ships going from planet to planet, combined with getting 126 Credits; 20 Metal; 20 Crystal / second. Also You cannot have 8GB RAM, The most a PC will reconize is 4GB.
We need a campaign, sure it is a GOOD game as it is but a campaign could take the ranking from a 9.0 (GameSpot.com) straight to a 9.5-9.9! SoaSE has great pontentail to be THE BEST RTS out there!
I'm pretty sure minidump is a sync error and will be fixed through the use of ALLOY in sins 1.1Speaking of 1.1 is the beta out yet I can't wait anymore the suspense is killing me.
This update will probally fix a ton of thing and make the game a bit more epic! Stardock and Ironclad should release what they have RIGHT NOW!! :) and keep working on it, then release the official beta later on, then launch it!
Im running a NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX, with 4GB RAM DDR, Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.60GHz, I run at max video always, but when I played a Random Huge Multi map. At first No lag, but an hour and a half into the game, (After i had about 20 planets and a few trade and refinery ports at every one) I had serious lag! I couldnt do anything about it. To me it seemed the lag occured every 1 second for a breif moment, (The same time i recieved my income which was at over 126 Credits / second). I
Id play multiplayer, ive got tons of free time, but everytime I try to connect it disconnects me. Any help to connect to multiplayer would help (I have norton 2008, I mention this because norton causes a lot of problems in other programs.) thx in advance.
Yes to get more capital ships you got to the research tab and it is the third button down and the top is how many capital ships and the bottom is how much fleet supply you get. =D
They are quicker then you and expand faster getting more resources. Plus they do get the upgrades to their fleet size.
You might be in cinematic mode, it disables much of the UI for video recording. Phase lanes are normally Grey, if it is the color of your icon it means that is where your culture is spreading, if it is not Grey or your color it means that the opponents culture is spreading.
