easier way: select all ships at given planet from planet tab. your highest ranked Cap ship will become your flagship when you create your fleet
If you're playing as TEC, get armor upgrades. TEC are masters of close-in ship-to-ship fighting. If its early, put in a Kol, lots of LRMFs and Cobalts. if they have carriers, cut back on your cobalts and build gardas. If they have heavy cruisers, you should to. Build them. Kodiak squadrons are more effective then the other HC squadrons.
As advent early, scout scout scout. Then start building light frigates. dont econ rush or you'll start losing money from cost. be smart, take your time
Also, before you knock a ship - try it in squadrons, you'll find many ships become considerably more powerful when "stacked" with themselves. A pack of Marauders, for instance, is pretty bitchin', but each of them alone is pretty lame. -Itharus
I agree with this entirely. my favorite groupings for 16 cap ships as TEC is 4 of everything except Dunov (just don't like it much, don't know why). Could you put up a rank chart? Major to Lieutenant j.g.? kinda confusing
To take out a capital ship quickly, focus all fire onto it. its shields will quickly fall and leave the hull wide open to destruction. also, fighters and bombers help a lot
Hopefully SupCOm2 is just as good as the first and the exspansion. i started playing them last summer and have really enjoyed them. hopefully its just as good
While having neer gone into mass production, I have to go with the XM8. Durable, easily cleaned, doesn't overheat, and has several modification (grenade launcher, sniper, cqb, and regular AR). Now if it is a weapon mass produced, M4 hands down. Accurate, deadly, and easily disassembled and cleaned. Heres a link for the XM8: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XM8
^^^not to mention a massive exspansion of their navy and development and construction of non-nuclear balistic missiles capable of sinking aircraft supercarriers. when the shit hits the fan, it ain't gonna be pretty
My goals for age 30: Get my Ph.D in history, focus on modern american military Make Major in the United States Marine Corps Be married

(A minor point and admittedly it comes down to taste but still a curiosity) As I remember Kirk had always had an interest in Antique. IN Star trek 2 we see his appartment with tons of antiques. Bones in that scenes tells Kirk to regain his command before he becomes a p

Korea is just a ? mark because even though we did contain them, we didnt gain anything either. This is extremely important. The American people don't have the stomach for a full-scale war. America is learning anti-terrorist tactics, but China's population is so huge, America could never ke
^^^Your are right, and im not doubting if you underestimate you lose (future marine here). Howver, they dont have the militray-industrial complex to support a wide war like we do. they have more people and yet we are still far more powerful, and their culture is ten times ours in age. Vietnam we won every battle but lost the war because we didn't have the political resolve to win. Korea is just a ? mark because even though we did contain them, we didnt gain anything either. [quot
If china will use the german blitzkrieg tactics on US now, they will take over the country in no time even if USA will drop nukes on china, and china WILL suffer a whole lot of damage because of that on the long run it dosnt matter as eventualy china will tripple the land it own and just rebuild everything from scratch, it is by the way another good side of communism, it can rise from ashes and turn into a very pawer
^^^How very mature. Dude, grow up and criticize with sstyle, not pointless rabble. Star Trek vs. Star Wars? Star Wars. The Empire is hundreds of times larger than the Federation
Bunch of bombers -> your HC are debris. King of kings learned that the hard way
Thats true, which is why my HC task forces always have a ton of carriers with them as well. my fleet stays fairly strong and balanced that way
I admit i spam HC's. and i kick @ss with them too[e digicons][/e]
Loved it. It is exactly what this franchise needed
Man, are you ever going to continue? I love this story
^^^Thats why I like the Kol as well
Kol is good on its own, but when teamed withKodiak HC's it can be near unstoppable
Bigger always > than smaller lol
^^^Good point on the Vasari. that phase ability on the Antoraks is so useful its not even funny
Amazing. Simply Amazing
