Go work on autobattles being better, make me some some DLCs with new heroes, magic, monsters and shit.
THIS. JK, I agree. I played the final release for the first time this weekend and I haven't had this much fun nor seen the elemental series this polished. My hats off to you guys for coming through and delivering a game that I can pretty confidentially call "Solid". Good work!

Excellent work guys. From Elemental to Legendary Heroes, the progress is immense. Now for multiplayer! (I can dream!)
I can't even begin to explain how much (and how long) I've wanted a separate upgrade line for weapons. Looks like it might have to be fleshed out a bit but looks good so far.
Are you going to increase base XP rate or provide a slider? And will one-handed spears be a separate weapons category?
^ this.
Yup; just added the serial to my steam account! Now just to get off work... [e digicons][/e]
Oh woops! I'll change that in the post... Yea I'll be trying the Defender tree after the Commander tree, since that's what I rolled with before; after of which I'll probably try the Mage tree with the summoning section.
Cmon, Cmon, Cmon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=IkTZ8BVAlFE#t=83s ^ me right now. On a serious note, I hope it's released today; if not there's always tomorrow. [e digicons]*_*[/e] What is going to be the first champion tree you will test with your sovereign? For me it'll probably exploring the new Commander tree. Brad had men
So I've been playing this game for some time, greatly enjoy the game, but I have a problem with it now. I'm just bored. I play games any difficulty higher than Hard depending on how many AI's and how big the map is, but I can barely bring myself to finish games. I've created custom factions, mixed up strategies, but I can't figure out a type of game that I can finish from beginning to end and have fun the whole time. I'm a huge fan of large scale games,

Yup, :( so true....
I can get the protections for POW's and civilians caught in the crossfire, but trying to prevent serious injury to armed combatants goes against the entire point of warfare, which is to cause extreme harm and injury to the other side's soldiers. That includes lovely, useful weapons like napalm and explosive and hollow-point rounds. Hell, the basic FMJ rounds the U.S. military uses aren't exactly nice considering they're designed to
Quoting Luciela, reply 58 You bring a very good point that I would like to bring up. There are justified wars, unjustified wars, formally declared wars, and informally declared wars. But in the end wouldn't you say it doesn't really matter? It's all wrong? Whether a war is justified or not, war is war. You can have a completely justified war where two nations are using chemical weapons and radioactive armaments, and you can
Quoting Whiskey144, reply 55 Quoting Istari, reply 53 You have a point. Resistance to invasion and occupation, and defending your country, people and rights are all honorable reasons for fighting and killing when you have to. But as the saying goes, war is hell. Which means that defining a "war crime" is impossible. As a result your argument on based on the crimes of the US in wartime completely falls apart. <br
First off I'd like to say I'm very impressed with 1.1 so far; a lot of steps in the right direction. There are of course obvious drawbacks, as to be expected however. One thing I was interested in was the Global mana, or Empire/Kingdom mana. This was a brilliant idea, however in my opinion this could go further: here's a suggestion. A split between Global and Personal spells. This is actually very simple and not complicated. Strateg
Yea sorry about idling yesterday. One of my friends wanted to try out sins so I showed him this mod and started teaching him the game. Took awhile [e digicons]-_-[/e] I'm up for a game tonight if there are people willing to do so. I may be able to get my friend to join as well.
I'll try playing, if anyones up for it tonight =X In-game name = Valeira
I agree 100%. Was gonna start a post until I saw this. Wouldn't be bad to make it a small in-game unit as well. This way on big-sized maps/games if your curious as to what nations you have embassies on you can just use the search panel to find them all.
DalzK" reply="4" id="2099846"] Starcraft takes "Skill" and practice to play, no one argues that,... but what it doesn't do, is offer a lot of strategic depth . Care to expand. As far as I know it offers the most strategic depth that a rts has so far.
I'd have to say pretty much all of the total war series offers more RAW strategy than starcraft does, and so does pretty much everyone whos played both. Some people cant even play the gam
Great post, addressing alot of issues here. Keep up the good work [e digicons]:)[/e]
DalzK" reply="13" id="2082560"] Rook with high armour + 6.8k hp is enough imo. You simply cant kill that (or its freaking hard...). Like HD300 said, the warpstone he gets will mean his slow speed isnt so revelant. I agree warpstone needs nerf... But 7k AND limited 4 uses AND 20 range. That would simply make it a huge huge waste of money and is too big of a nerf, though one is certainly needed. I agree with your other points too...UB needs 6.0
quoting post warp stone: thsi item is nice and usefull,.. too usefull, for its price, you can use it to pull off near flawless combo that break the fun in the endgame and makes thign too easy, ist also can be abusing for porta flag steal possibles fixes: 1- decrease the range equaly to the cloak of the night 2- increase the cost to 7k 3- when you buy it, the item dise
I agree with basically everything on this post. Balancing is key to this version of the beta so I strongly encourage everyone to take a look at these fixes. Another balance that i think should be addressed is the Wyrmskin gloves. They have recieved a damage nerf (from the 30s to 15), but still retained their original price and the 25% movement speed and attack speed chance (which is 20). The biggest factor to the reason why Wyrmskin needed a nerf was because of the attack
I've got the basis of the skills she uses down, pretty much to an art. Unfortunately I must agree, she is a bit underpowered. I think she is still a good hero if you use her right, but there is a limit with her. I've played all the other heroes and can safely say she needs a buff to be as effective as the other heroes in this game.
When you pre-order the game, you will recieve an email verifying the payment you have just submitted. Scroll a bit down and you will see information about the beta, as well as a beta key. then all you have to do is download and you should be set (Downloads about 2.3 GB).
