I didn't knew that. In my games, when I can build the Galactic guide book anomalies had all already been explored, so it's useless... The description of the wonder says "all ships can survey", but honestly I never tried it. Thanks WIllythemailboy!

You need Medium scale building, Sensors, Sensors mk IV, Advanced life Support and Ion Drive, if you want to rebuild the standard survey ship. However, with Sensors you obtain the Survey module; if a ship is equipped with it, that ship act as a survey ship (can explore anomalies). That means that you can design your own survey ship. Additionally, with the Sensors mk III technology you can build the galactic wonder "Galactic guide book", which will allow all your ships to explore anomalies.<br

Yes. Ok. Leonard, over.” “Something wrong?” “They’ve found us.” “They? Who, they?” “We’ve got no time.” He closed the suitcase where he had placed all the biohazard tubes. “We?” “Yes. You come with me.” “But…”<b

OoOh is getting more and more interesting... Keep it up! :CONGRAT:
You can't. Annoying, I know, but there isn't anything you can do... At least in DA, as far as I know.
Just finished this one... Hope you enjoy! :D Chapter 2: Emergency measures Pasteur Medical Institute, Paris, France European Union, Earth, Sol system “Mounsieur Daquine?” “Oui, c’est moi.
Title & intro inspired by FreeSpace or is that just me?
Yes. Basically I’ve learned English with that game, so I consider this my little tribute. I’m glad that you appreciate the story. I'm working on chapter two…
Chapter 1: Awakening Varna Station, Tau Ceti system Lieutenant jr. Jack Nicholson put his coffee cup on the steel desk near his radar
Woooooow! He's back! He's back! :D Keep up the best story of all times, please!
I’m writing the sequel, “Odyssey into Hell”… I should be able to post the first chapter for the end of the month, when school is finished. And thanks for the positive comments, everyone!
I agree with KzintiPatriarch... Excellent story! Keep it up! :CONGRAT:
I think many of us have experienced the shock of seeing so many Drengin ships coming at us only to realize that they are weak ships with no defences.
For me it's still a shock. It means that the game usually sloooooooooow down. So, panic. Even if with a single ship you can destroy their entire Dominator arsenal, it's an epically long battle...
Wow! There aren’t many AARs that have hooked me up from the first chapter, but this is one of the few! Excellent work, keep it up! :CONGRAT:
Well, if I said that, I’d ruin my weak attempt to create something like a J.J. Abrams’-Alias effect… :D
In my current games I have created a new ship style for my custom race. Unfortunately, it's only working when the race is selected as an opponent, and when I play it the ships appear to be Iconian (which blank hulls I have used as the base to build the new templates). What should I do to make them work properly? Thanks, Eidolon.
The fight was hard. Sakrine now had a new cut crossing his face, while Kona’s shield has been broken in half. The initial intention was to put up an honourable duel, but it had degenerated in a brutal fight with no exceptions of moves and incorrectness. A fight for survival. Both the contenders were agile and strong, and none of them was going to surrender. The crowd was silent. Usually, during a duel, the spectators were doing everything except for remaining silent. They cheered, booed, roared
As the ex-Imperial fleet neared Drengi, Sakrine thought about what he was doing. Irrationality? he asked himself for the thousandth time. But after a moment of loss, his crew has obeyed his orders. Maybe they think that this is the right thing? He wasn’t still sure that an insurrection was the best way to save his race. The only thing he was sure was that Kona had to be got rid of. But the fact remained that he was going to kill his brothers and sons to ‘protect his homeland’. Sure
Sakrine looked absently the glass of Her’k wine that he was holding in his hand. His thoughts were running far away from the dark room that was his home aboard the Kovenar. Regrets, missed chances, possibly different turning points of his life were passing slowly in front of him, analyzed and reanalyzed. So many sacrifices, so many difficult choices, and for what? I lived for my work, and now… I’ve lost everything. I’ve rebelled against my Emperor. I’m a traitor of the worst kin
Amanda was in her room. The remnants of what once was a massive Drengin armada retreated far away from the Terran border. The Behemoth was en-route for Mars. The Allied fleet sustained only moderate causalities, while the initial predictions for the battle said that it would had been a desperate one. For the first time in years, the situation was relatively stable. “Tramontate stelle… All’alba viiiinceroooo…. Vin-ceroooooo…. VIN-CEEEEEEEEE-ROOOO…” “Puccini?” Brian O’Malley,
“Their last ship has warped out from Epsilon Pegasi, sir. They’re regrouping three parsecs away from the system.” Amanda nodded. “Are the orbital weapon platforms ready?” “Yes, sir.” “Let’s start.” ------ “Overlord, the fleet has regrouped. Group Lord Dharr is requesting authorization to pursue the Terran scum.” “Authorization refused.” “W-what?” Sakrine’s eyes flamed. “What in ‘authorization refused’ isn’t clear, controller?” “Sir, Emperor Kona Himself ha

Atik woke up, with an hard headache. It was night, but the zone was floodlit from the fires of the burning tanks. There was a strange, sweet smell in the air. The smell of the battle. The smell of the death. His Domee jeep was a few meters away, turned upside down. His driver was still under at his seat, with the neck broken. Murmuring a prayer for his spirit, he took the nocturne vision lens from his rucksack, and recuperated a Drengin plasma rifle from the battleground. He hate to admit
No. He ordered to keep the Epsilon Pegasi system free from the Drengin at any cost. Great Admiral Alighieri, after seeing that the Terran Navy can't repel the Drengin attack with conventional weapons, asked for a nuclear strike. However, a nuclear strike would have destoryed both the Drengin and the human fleets. Alan was thorn between launching a nuclear strike, killing millions of humans but saving for the moment the SPEC.T.R.E-15, or not doing so, leaving the Drengin conquering the station. A
