It's the same wherever you go. Politics, religion and of late, global warming, all have two opposing sides who will never agree. Not the sort of thing you want for any community. Many years ago on WinCustomize a debate started on the then upcoming Iraq conflict. It started ok but ended up with friends being at each other's throats. For me a large part of what was a tightly knit community died at that point and things were never the same again. So no, no politics. Take

I've never had a problem with Outlook. However, you should always backup your pst files :) I have my pst file on its own partition where its easier to find and backup. I then have SyncBack copy it to two locations on a daily basis (different disks).

The demise of a glacier in Life, the Universe and Everything WinCustomize Forums

I've been visiting Austria for many years and one of my favourite places is Grossglockner. Apart from the mountain itself, the highest in Austria, one of the main features there is the Pasterze glacier. Sadly in recent times it hase been retreating at an alarming rate. The picture is dark because it's against the light. The camera has exposed for the bright areas leaving other areas dark. Usually you would need exposure compensation of + 1 to 2 stops to make the picture lighter. With a small sensor size 5mp means very little. The picture isn't sharp because the camera just doesn't have the resolving power needed. The flowers are better as they are in direct sunlight. However, you can still see the lack of sharpness.

As a Nikon user, I can only give my experience with Nikons. If you were to go second hand, I'd get a D300 and a 18-135mm lens. The image below was taken with this combination. Although heavily compressed so I could upload it, it's not altered in any way. Another less expensive choice would be a D70 with 18-70 kit lens. For a sample taken with that combination see my desktop in the July desktop thread. Though that one has been processed and resized.

The monitor is great. I used this website http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/ Once I did my adjustments, on the black level I can just make out box 1, and on the white I can just (barely) see 254. Fantastic result for such an inexpensive monitor. [e digicons]5*[/e]
