Mgorbach: Can you name this free server that'll host any site for free no matter how large or popular it is? That sounds rather intriguing.

It's good to see that you're still around Boza, because usually people who post comments similar to yours merely want to cause trouble, which is why you receive some harsh replies. From what I've read in other threads, if you submit any of your work to the site and it's added to the library, you're upgraded to a status that doesn't have a limit. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="
Actually Boza, they don't have to pay if they contributed. That's the beauty of the system!
Besides the original Windows XP Style that comes with Windows XP (that I converted to WindowBlinds), I must say that the skins that are made by Alexandrie are my favorite, because the style is colorful and isn't too blocky or round. I wish she would update her skins to use the new features of 3.4 though!
Go to Display Properties, and click on WindowBlinds in the appearance tab, then click on the Per Application button in the sidebar, and add any game that is having problems with WindowBlinds and make sure that "Ignore this application and do not skin it" is checked. That should fix the problem.
Busy servers? Come on people. Let's be realistic here.
I didn't even know they were selling Stardock.
Perhaps people keep posting these same threads because if they do it enough, they might be upgraded to a level 3 status.
According to the article though, they aren't going to release OS X for the PC. One will still have to buy a Mac, or at the very least, an Apple PC.
I had similar problems. I copied and pasted all the content from the xpstuff.xp to the WBA file and that fixed it for me.
I bought Object Desktop because of WindowFX and WindowBlinds. To be honest, I was disappointed because WindowBlinds wasn't what the articles made it out to be (i.e. an improved version of MS Visual Styles when it was actually a different format altogether), but as it improved, I've used it more often and now use it regularly along with the other OD applications.
What I've noticed about wish lists is that people wish for the same thing over and over, such as the Genie effect in WindowFX. Personally, I would love to have a Britney Spears skin!
Maybe you should start another thread with the question. That might help.
I occasionally use Linux. Now that I figured out some games I like don't work on Windows XP, but on Windows 95, I might have a new purpose for Linux. I also want to try Gnome 2.
I dislike the Windows Classic style for Windows XP, but when I'm on Linux, it's one of my favorite.
Are you saying if I were to give credit to Pixtudio, it would be all right if I used their artwork?
It's being used on people who aren't using Windows XP though craeonics, so Microsoft is losing out. As for OSes being ripped, I might be crazy, but aren't these designs made by artists just like the skins made by Pixtudio? When will it be wrong for Pixtudio to protect their creations from being ripped?
It also depends on the skin. If one compares an intense skin to Luna, then that's not even fair. As for compatibility, it doesn't have compatibility problems because it does not skin nearly as many applications as WindowBlinds does. Plus, all the best artists make skins for WindowBlinds.
Speaking of AOL stacks, I upgraded ICQ today. In that upgrade, it placed a "Free AOL and Internet Something" not only on my desktop, but in my Links folder, in my Favorites folder, in my Programs folder, and I'm sure I'll find another shortcut eventually.
Stardock owned by AOL?
I don't think it's possible.
Why would other sites not want WinCustomize.org to have Trillian skins?
I have a question. WindowBlinds doesn't use the fonts specified in skins for menus. Is it me or is this something that WindowBlinds can't do as of now?
I bought WindowBlinds just so I could make Windows XP look like Windows 98 again. Well worth the money.
