Here's one of the 'good' one that's about lies in the media: WWW Link Of course it's by LW. What's not good about LW and her posts? Call me question crony if you like

I have some lies that I'm hanging onto. Only because they're too big/important to give away. I think there's a difference between privacy and lies. Hmm, specific posts? This isn't the intent of my article. I'd rather let sleeping dogs lie.

I learned the hard way on this one too. LW's right (as usual ). I thought it could be platonic too, even when the guy was married. But we literally couldn't be alone together our attraction was just too strong. It took me way to long to figure this out and give up the relationship. In fact it didn't happen until I was married and realized that I didn't need/want to complicate things in that way

You look good, and yes, younger too. BTW, I really like your eyes. Very handsome features there. The cap's cool too.

There's been a lot of discussion around here about lying. In my view there have been some 'good' and some 'bad' discussion. Whatever. I guess this post comes out of these to some extent. This here is MY opinion. When I say 'you' I'm not talking specifically about YOU. No one has to agree with me on this and I'm not looking for an argument - just expressing myse

I don't plan on having a kid anytime soon. I'll make sure of that. And I'm as careful as I can be about the diseases too. The only plan that can prevent both of these is abstinence. Condoms break. I've seen it again and again. And pills don't always work either. And abortion...well, you have to live

It seems like you're very confused about the whole situation. I hope it works out for you. My experience is that ex-boyfriends don't make good friends. It just doesn't work that way. I mean sex is sex to me I guess. Spoken from a true child. Just remember sex makes babies whether you plan the

ditto to everything everyone's said above. I hope that you'll see a doctor. If you really want to your regular doctor could give you the script then no one would have to know. But and it's a BIG BUT, they aren't the best. It would be better to go to a psychiatrist, but if you aren't willing to this would be better than nothing. Also, you can usually get a PO box at the local post office and have your bills sent there. I've done this befor

KFC, Most of the time I don't respond to your articles, but I wanted to let you know I'm reading and that I look forward to new ones. I've got a lot to learn and you're really helping me. QoD

Are you supposed to be writing a sonnet or just making up a poem with the last words of each line? If you're trying to write a shakespearian sonnet, to mimic 106, then you'll need to determine the metrical foot and follow it as much as possible. Sonnets are hard to write and typically have a specific purpose, which is also important to follow. Norton says that Sonnets are "best suited to intensit of feeling and concentration of expression"

I think I've shared before that I'm working towars a BA in English with the goal of teaching at a two-year college. I've only started taking classes at the local university this semester. I have three classes (9cr) so maybe I don't have enough experience yet to fully judge just how good this college is, but so far I'm highly disappointed. If there was ano

Yep, after 35 years I finally got one. And you know what? I'm going to participate, if I can come up with the extra cash I need to invest. Here's my idea: I'm going to take six index cards and write on them: Here's my two cents Don't be so STUPID! Get a real job and make your own d*^n money! If I'm feeling really genero

Are you saying there is an IMPROPER way to communicat with God, Nope not at all. Maybe for a lot of people prayer comes natural, but for me it doesn't. On my first Wednesday at church I got a prayer sheet and I wasn't altogether sure what to do with it so I went in search of some tools to help me le

I found a book on clearance at the Christian store and it was just what I was looking for - for less than $2.50! The title is The Everyday Guide to Prayers . It has a month long daily guide with two components for each day. First there's 'What to Pray' and then 'How to pray.' I've been reading and applying it for the past four or five days. It's really help

Yep! I've been that poor. Had one in the garage and one in the yard. Call me trash but both those cars ended up helping the family get by. A broke down car in my yard is with two in the junk yard. All the cars in our family have always been regarded as female...which remindes me of what my dad used to say - can't get anywhere with her, can't get anywhere without her. I live with one of those 'lovely' HOAs now. A feisty neigh

Your link won't work from me so I can't comment fully but what I'd say initially is that what we should be saying is 'we remember.' Not in the fact that we were there, but that we've studied it so we'll remember the horrors and the hope is that we'll learn and change our ways.

Addiction and mental/spiritual illness is not caused by a lack of self discipline. Some of these folks are the most disciplined I know. It's hard to be a junkie, the routine is grinding, the craving unrelenting, and the expense (and what they have to go through to meet it) is considerable. They never get to 'take the day off' if

Some time ago I watched a show on TV. It dealt with eating disorders among a group of teenage girls confined in a treatment center 'for their own good', which actually meant for the good of the sanity of their parents. These were girls who not only had eating disorders but exhibited uncontrolled anti-social behaviouirs; who 'self

What makes me curious? I don't know maybe I'm just nerdy - wanting to learn what I can. Maybe it's selfishness Thanks Simon! (By the way my bunny is named Simon and he's adorable!)

There appears to be an unformulated thought (or, if not unformulated, then unexpressed) at the back of your questions. That thought, it appears to me, is this. You appear to equate the moral and ethical position I've described with unfettered selfishness. If that's indeed so, then your questions become intelligible since all of t
