I researched pretty far into the trade tree one game, and I all ever got was 5-6 BC per ship/route. That's pretty much chump change by that stage of the game. Even multiplied by 10-15 trade routes. Does having a tradable commodity increase that? The only place I've seen that turn up is on the race-to-race trade screen.

I recently made one of those hard Good/Evil decisions, and ended up with a planet with a bonus: Starship +44%. What does that get me? Shorter build times? Faster/stronger/better ships? Cheaper ships? I have no idea.
You start most/all games with three hulls: Cargo, Small and Tiny. Once you have medium and large hulls, is there any benifit to building tiny ships? Large = more engine, more sensor, more module, more everything. I have not been able to precieve any power-to-weight ration formulas, so a small ship with a warp drive goes the same speed as a large ship with one warp drive. So what's the point to tiny ships? Can't be the cost, because it's negligabl
I have pretty much decided that Production on the planet sceen only effects that planet. A factory built on one planet has absolutly no effect on another planet, or any other part of the game except on that one planet. The effect is Local. While research centers have a Univeral effect. Bulding a research facility has no effect on the planet itself. I would like to know if anyone has compiled a list of bonuses/effects that details their e
