Hi...this is my first posting here, although I've been around awhile. I'd like to propose a competition to 'the poers that be': Namely "The Four Seasons"....not in the vocal group sense (if anyone remembers), but rather in the "Vivaldi" sense. Any supporters out there????

Well, I agree: It's a great program. As for "Most of the skins are ugly." Well, DO something about it. I don't hear of them making a skin, and if you don't like a particular skin, hey....guess what? MOVE ON! I get tired of detracters, and other negative types, along with the "Raters" and critics. Anyhow that's my 2 cents worth of rant. Oh...I almost forgot! My humble thanks to ALL the folks who try to improve things. Light a candle rather than cursing the dark.

Seems to me that Open Office 2.0 is at least as good as the Microsoft product, and people should use it, if that is their concern. Oh, by the way, it has NO advertising embedded.

Well...my 2 cents: I've enjoyed your talent and your observations. If you'd like, I'll try to pick it apart...give me some kind of hint, though....as in where to start. I love it! Updates at every boot...very fast, organized and esthtically pleasing. I only wish more folks would author themes for it, and I'm also hoping for new modules. The support is also excellent...even when my questions were (shall we be generous and say) "simple".
I'd like to see instructions on how to change theme resolutions. I've been pretty disappointed in the fact that these themes don't "autoadjust" to resolutions like 1440x900, and I know others have been as well.
There are by the nature of things, I suppose, "lumpers" and "splitters". I chose to split off 1440x900 desktops (and others) from the "dual monitor" category because ther is only one screen, and half a desktop defeats the artist's original intention (or vision).
Wouldn't it be nice to subdivide the Wallpaper Section of Wincustomize.com into a Regular and Widescreen Sections? Would that encourage folks to produce resolutions of 1440x900 and on up including twin screens, etc.?
The survey numbers are numbers and as such cannot relay more than answers to relatively "for or against" questions leaving no room for gradations. Unfortunately, our (American) perceptions are strongly biased against what we perceive as "primitive" values. Earlier experience was better. Although I subscribed on 10.10.05 by renewing my subscription to Object Desktop, somehow wincustomize keeps losing my right to download skins, etc. Also, finding tech support isn't easy: there should be a link on wincustomize.com homepage...don't you think??? I see a drop off on this site....seems like fewer skinners and, fewer new ideas. Maybe that's par for the course. I do wish, though, that Stardock would come out with software (or tell this clod which software to use) that could change the resolution of skins/walls to match my laptop's 1440x900 res. I love Tiggs' Cabal, but when I try to change the res to 1440x900 with pix resizer, it's a dismal failure. Can anyone help?
