OK, now that I'm either safe and/or in the company of vicious sadists like myself, I'll ask, any prediction on a release date for the final 1.1 patch? I've done betas before but I'm wary. Nobody loves me. :( in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

OK, I can get through the first hundred turns or so no problems, my people love me, I'm doing great. But then my popularity starts to plummet, even though I've got Virtual Reality on every planet and my tax rates are under 10%. Thing is, some planets remain at 100% approval while some go down to around 40%. What am I doing wrong? Is this kind of like in Civ where I need to keep military units in orbit around a planet in order to keep peop

I hate to beat a dead horse, but any word on fixing hardpoint alignment? Some of the symmetrical pieces and hulls don't have symmetrical hardpoints (though they look like they were intended to be).

Getting a hard copy in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I bought online through The Gaming Network and it was a painless process, but I can't imagine TGN will always support this game (I'm thinking years down the line). Is there any way to get an actual disc shipped to me, without paying for the game all over again? I would've taken the Download/Shipping option but I paid using TGN tokens and it wasn't offered.

Oh, yeah, two other things. Is there any way to get all hull options in the editor without doing the research in-game? I want to build some capital ships but I'll probably get explodinated before I can research all that stuff. And also, I'd really like to be able to build moving parts on ships, particularly turrets. OK, I don't do these "forum" things a lot, so forgive me if I've said something stupid or commonly said. I got the game yesterday and so far what I've mostly done is play around in the ship editor (so much fun!). I found one bug, or at least I think it's a bug. On the default Small hull for the race that starts with the circular colonizer (the bug people, I think), one of the outer hardpoints on the bottom curve is not properly spaced.
