I must say that I don't see any reason to include this in Elemental. (as others stated already) Its a turnbased fantasy strategy game, not a racer, fps or anything were I can see benefits of including it. Rather see Stardock spending their limited time on more important issues. (Balance, modabilty ect.)

I ordered as soon as I could with my last remaining tokens a few months back. Today I actually found time to update my two machines to Impulse. Very nice looking app for sure! Picked up all my TGN games no problem. Only one not listed is Elemental, but I guess that's due to it being so far off yet. My tokens are gone though on Stardock Central, so I guess I've "paid" for Elemental already. No idea how the money transfers are handled. Will likely get entrancement for SOASE through Impulse soon
I do enjoy random locations a lot. Its nice to "unpack" them. Still I feel that the HOMM series put in way way to much. But if its like Age of Wonders or Master of Magic, Warlords then I would enjoy random location for sure!
This is going to be a revolution in turnbased gaming! If Civlization V doesn't get released to close near your launch you should be golden. I really like the idea of "creating" you own units with a custom look. Going to feel so much more personal when they'll do battle! Aplha Centauri also did this a bit, but I think the technology wasn't avanced enough yet to pull it off back then. Of course GalCiv II also implemented the system, but for spaceships it I think its a bit easier to
The sand box mode will have tons of story in it because there are quests and such triggered by player actions.
Awesome! Plus the modding options will also provide lots of gameplay fun I'm sure!
CONGRATULATIONS to Stardock and Ironclad! Greatly enjoying the game. Wasn't even remotely considering buying it, but was blown away by all the positive comments it got on the Quarter To Three forums. So caved in two weeks ago and not regretting it one bit. Great game and indeed sort of Kohan in space that I was hoping for. Also SoaSE is a very different experience from GalCiv II so they co-exist nicely on my HD now :) I really enjoy how Stardock treats its customers. N
Aye MOM is still a great game to play. Any succesor would have to be turnbased imo. I do enjoy SoaSE a lot, but it doesn't replace the feeling/gameplay that GalCiv II gives me. For instance I find me often not watching a battle in SoaSE, which I enjoy a lot because something else in my empire needs attention. In Galciv II I can really sit back and enjoy the show. I also feel that while realtime might work for SoaSE, it won't for a fantasy title. Kohan did this best I feel (but that wasn
Please thy noble sires don't ignore us lowly peasants. Master Thijs is well-spoken and we still hold out for a fair answer to his question. Please do grace us with your presence en enlighten us with your knowledge!
Awesome mod! Thanks a lot. So pretty! Now can you give the astroids a facelift? They were ok, but thanks to your mod they look less good now Anyway enjoying it greatly! Outstanding work!
Thanks for all the suggestions! Going to check them out. Will make playing GC-DA even more fun!
I’m looking for some books that tell about epic struggles between galactic empires. Say the Star Wars theme and then the books focusing on the big war and not the small stories. Any theme is fine as long as it goes about galactic strugle (Big fleets slugging it out, massive ground wars, space marines the whole lot.) Star Wars is ok, since I love that, but I really need the title then since there are so many. I’ve read lots of them already, so something new would also be great!
YAY UBI!!! HOMM 5 wasa no buy for me with SF no it has turned in a must buy! Finally the customer wins. Of course they'll still dongle with the CD, but its a step in the right (Stardock) direction!
Very happy you guys are trying your hand at a game of this sort. If your dedication to quality and gameplay will also be the foundation of this project, something fantasic might grow here indeed. I've been following this kind of games through times and it seems none really made it a success yet, a big opportunity for sure. Still it is a tough assignment with many pitfalls. Seen many, like Ballerium and such, failing or struggling to make it work, ho
Just wanted to let it be known that I haven't bought any game using the draconian StarForce system yet. Was tempting. Star Rangers 2 seemed like a very good game and there are others, but there's a limit in the amount of copy protection that I as a legit buyer am willing to accept. So they at least lost my money and I'm far from the only one. Seeing the simple method used by Stardock, I must say that I get more and more irritated by some of the other methods <img src="http://images.st
You should have researched more advanced factories before launching the game! Congratulations on having those problems!
