Lets say that in the early days of my Empire I raise a band of spearmen to fight for my noble cause. Over the course of many seasons they stand close by my side as I tame the wilderness and slowly work to grind the screaming populace of Relias' Kingdom under my heel. As time passes my blacksmiths and other artisans manage to research better armour, and I would like to outfit the King's Own regiment in a style befitting their great value me and to my Empire. How do

Yes I know how it won't show up without a river =) But if you look in the technology tree, it isn't even present for the Empire races. Try this: 1. Create a new game with any Kingdom race, look at tech tree - Civics, and you will see the Water Wheel shows up there, 2. Repeat with an Empire race and you'll see that it does not. And it really doesn't, if you have a town by a river etc the option to build a Water Wheel never comes up

Am playing the tutorial, and I have been given the objective to 'Fight the Earth Elemental'. When I click on the 'Watch Video' button a video pops up as normal, but it is obscured by the 'Fight the Earth Elemental' screen which should probably be covered up by the tutorial video, but isn't. - Manii Names

I have just launched the game and am playing through the walkthrough. After picking up my first piece of equipment (Masterwork Chain Vambraces) I went to the Unit Details screen to equip it. On this screen the 'Spell Mastery' field is overwriting the 'Equipment' text. Edit - Pic added.

Teleport using the Teleport Spell. While in the strategic view, highlight a stack containing a caster hero that has a minimum of 5 mana currently available. Open your spellbook and cast the teleport spell, then click on any tile where you have influence. Your stack should teleport to that location at a cost of 5 mana and zero movement points.

They work for me. I will say that if you build 3-4 of the mana regen buildings then unless you're fighting multiple battles per turn you basically never run out of mana. It's probably unbalanced given the low town level required to build them and the ability to create a bunch of little channelers through Imbue. It does make magic more fun though.

I have your mod up and working, and have been playing with it. Some comments: 1. Ring of Mana Regen is too cheap. As a proof of concept it works well though. 2. Mana regen from shrines becomes over the top once you get more than 2 or so. It easily reaches the point that you can teleport whenever you want and cast multiple spells per battle with very little drawdown in mana. 3. I really like the regen stat being visible somewher

OK, I dropped your four xml files in there, but the first thing I tested (shrines) doesn't seem to boost mana regen? 1. All files are in the \My Games\Elemental\Items directory. 2. Use Mods is turned on. Shrines: 1. I kept starting new games until I had a shard spawn near my home town, then I built the basic shrine on it ASAP. 2. Cast spells, watch mana regen. Still only one per turn. A

I own a Kindle, and like it quite a bit. If I purchase the book tie-in, Kindle edition, will I receive the additional content for the game that I would if I bought the print edition? Just in a downloaded form instead of a disc or something? - Manii Names

I preordered the game ages ago, and have the beta installed, but until this Christmas weekend have not had much time to fool around with the system. I've created towns, built some roads, harvested food and explored a bit, but not much else. What I am really looking for are shortcuts, suggestions and answers to some questions. Q: If I have three towns built, is there any handy way to cycle between them so I can see what they are all doing? Q: Map scrolli

The typical loud mouth posting on a web forum is a cretin. And I am willing to say, on the record, that yes, I do know more. ====== This was great, and oh so true. Brad, I like your products. Please keep making them. And for the record, I like turn based fantasy games. I STILL, after all these years, have Master of Magic installed and working on my Windows XP machine. I still play it, crappy VGA graphics and all, because it's a great game. When my children grow
