DesktopX SysTray object not working? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Hi, I have 8 icons in my systray (windows taskbar). I try to do a DesktopX systray object. (click trayicon -> new object -> select systray -> ok.) I get a ..thing. looking like this: http://nite.nitesade.net/taskbat.jpg so, _what_ is wrong? why, oh why doesn't any of the icons show up? I'm getting nervous breakdown for trying to get it to work... DesktopX version 1.1 WindowsXP Pro sheeeeeesh! \Nite - "can't rain all the time"

I made another image( http://nite.nitesade.net/GlowOS2.jpg ), which should show the transparencies a bit clearer. Also a "background" in one menu. (obviously, with the background, it isn't click-thru anymore) But, with or without the background? I vote for Trillian also. And I agree with Griffinme, the screenshots can go. The way I see (and do) it, is that I put the screenshots I want others to see to somewhere else (anyone can get a few megabytes free webspace from quite a many places) and then post the link to this forum. maybe, but I'm not a fan of DesktopX... It hates my multiple monitors and (at least the 1.0x versions were) way too restrictive resolution-wise. On the best (worst?) of days, I'll have to change my resolution from five to ten times a day, and having DesktopX is a Bad Idea(tm). to have then. If, in the future, DesktopX will work with multiple monitors and multiple desktops and, most importantly, does not get in a very bad mood whenever one changes the resolution, I'll go for it. <img src

feline, not that I recall, and I'm running XP, so there isn't really any resources like in Win9x anymore. but, I did a ... radical thing. Component Manager is working now, I'm just downloading WB3.3g, IP 1.95c and OB 1.04. I've been running multiple monitors since Win98 and I've never witnessed any buggy behaviour related to that. There are some programs that do not like multiple monitor, but all the generally do is refuse to be moved on to the secondary screen and/or lose any window that is moved there by other means. But, as I said WB with UIS1 skin works like a charm and doesn't do anything "funny". Too bad that there are so many new UIS1 skins. And I'm not the only with the UIS2 problems. Try for your

Disable WindowBlinds, (disable the automatic startup too) reboot. Load WB. (with a theme that skins the start-menu). That should do for the second. for the first, I have no idea. Try checking the stardock dicussion area (news) I don't use startmenu anyways -Nite

Hiya, I've grown tired of the general windows-look, And I'm in the process of making it (my desktop) look cleaner and nicer. Here's a couple of ideas that got into my head: 1. Upsidedown (don't know if WB can do it) turn the window-layout upside down.
