Let's keep anything about Multiplicity to its own thread (so we don't tangent off). As to the points brought up by Delaron and Games_Master: Prices on the titles currently on TotalGaming are going to be adjusted in the near future (this is actually the first thing I researched after joining Stardock). However, you will always pay a bit of a premium

Greetings all, I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone. While WinCustomize is already an excellent site, I plan to ensure that things keep getting better. If anyone ever runs into any problems, please feel free to let us know.

I believe I see your concern (and no, that's not how things are checked - at least not anymore). Once you've bought a game via TotalGaming, it's yours to download in the future even if your subscription expires. You will always have access to it, including any patches that come out for it in the future. In terms of maintaining older versions (i.e., 1.0 instead of 1.01), that's what the archive function is f

Okay, so what you're saying is that you'd prefer the ability to download the original version of a game, then each patch version independantly instead of automatically being brought to the latest version automatically?

That is the standard way of getting patches with Stardock Central: only needed files are uploaded. But there is currently a minor issue for those who have an expired Drengin.net account. Look at this thread https://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GF&id=194807, post 19 and 20. If that's the case with someo

Having said that, I'm curious about one thing on Phase 2. The idea sounds like you're actually buying games using the tokens; so I'd like to know if it's possible to get standalone installers for the games you buy using the tokens? Do you mean being able to install a game without using Stardock Central

If you check the thread where you last mentioned this, Frogboy answered you in detail. You've made out extremely well. http://totalgaming.stardock.com/forums.asp?MID=141&CMID=5&AID=59244#517630

The only extra wish I have is that the games are already patched, and when/if there is a new patch, to be able to apply that one. If a game has been patched at the time we add it to the service, it'll be pre-patched when someone goes to purchase it with their tokens. Additionally, when new patches are r

Rather than make multiple posts, let me try to answer some of the various concerns FAQ style. Can I try a game before I spend tokens on it? As a few people mentioned, this is exactly what demos are for. We do plan to have demos available

Sorry to be out of touch for so long everybody. I was caught up in some personal business for the past few weeks. For those who haven't gotten the latest email blast yet (or who aren't subscribed to it), I thought I'd let you know that two games are currently in the pipeline: Nexagon and Hacker Elite. Once we've tested to make sure these games are working properly, they'll show up via Stardock Central for your downloading pleasure. <img src="http://im

Thanks. The web guys have been working hard on it. There's still a few kinks to work out, plus possibly some more changes. We hope to make our forums more user-friendly so people will be more interested in sparking up discussions.

Although the post is now gone for some reason, I'll re-mention to everyone that it is not wise to post your contact information online. James - I would suggest filling out the support form at: http://totalgaming.stardock.com/support/ as your issues with the game are definitely not typical.

Reply #29 By: Mike C - 1/24/2005 8:07:12 PM Well, its a good start to have someone talking . As an aside, I'd be interested in hearing about how you all find/pick a game to get on totalgaming. edited because it sounded bad at first I can't speak for past additions, but for the future games I'm handling, I play each of them thoroughly. Hi everyone, My name is Brian Clair, and I'm the new director / manager / overseer / insert term here for TotalGaming.net. We have a lot of great things in store for TG in 2005, which I hope people will enjoy. Of course, a great deal of that will be to add new games to the service so that we have a much wider selection than now. I hope to build a real

Greetings all, My name is Brian Clair, I've recently been hired (last week) by Stardock to manage TotalGaming.net. For starters, I'd like to point out that World War II: Frontline Command was the November game. You can see in Stardock Central it was added on 11/5/04 (I've confirmed this with several people here). With that said, let me assure everyone that I am working on evaluating and getting new games added to the service. I woul
